Windsor's POV
This woman was absolutely unbelievable.
I expected Evelyn to throw one of her usual tantrums, storm off the balcony in a rage like she always did when things didn't go according to her plans.
Instead, she seemed to realize I was there, because she remained perfectly still.
"What are you doing?" I gasped when she suddenly grabbed me backwards, the force making me stumble over my own feet.
"Being an attention seeker isn't enough for you anymore? Now you're spying on Weston and me?"
I exhaled sharply and caught her wrist. "I was here first. If you want privacy for your arguments, don't have them where everyone can hear."
Her lips pressed into a thin line of frustration before she seized a handful of my hair, yanking me down the hallway like I weighed nothing.
"Get your hands off me!" I shouted, scratching at her grip.
She was much stronger than I'd expected, fueled by something darker than simple anger. Pure hatred, maybe.
