The morning light slipped into the room, soft and warm. Aiden slowly opened his eyes. For a moment, he forgot where he was—until he felt an arm wrapped tightly around him.
It was Leo.
Leo was still sleeping, his face calm. His hand rested on Aiden's waist, as if he was afraid to let him go.
Aiden smiled faintly. He had never felt this safe before.
Carefully, he tried to move, but Leo pulled him back.
"Where are you going, my little Omega?" Leo's sleepy voice rumbled.
Aiden's cheeks turned red. "I just wanted to get up… maybe make breakfast."
Leo shook his head, eyes still closed. "No. You rest. I'll do it."
Aiden laughed softly. "You? Cook breakfast? I don't believe it."
Leo opened his eyes and grinned. "Watch me."
He got up, kissed Aiden's forehead, and went to the kitchen. Aiden stayed in bed, listening to the clatter of pots and pans. Soon Leo returned with a tray—bread, eggs, and tea. It wasn't perfect, but Aiden's heart warmed instantly.
"For you," Leo said, setting the tray on his lap. "Only the best for my Omega."
Aiden's lips curved. "You don't have to do all this."
Leo leaned close, his gaze soft. "I want to. Because you're mine."
Aiden blushed, lowering his eyes. He picked up a piece of bread and took a bite. His face twitched.
"…It's a little burnt."
Leo's eyes widened. "What? No way!" He grabbed a piece for himself, chewed, then grimaced.
"…Okay, maybe it is."
Aiden giggled, covering his mouth. "See? I told you."
Leo leaned closer, pretending to pout. "Then feed me instead. Maybe it'll taste better that way."
Rolling his eyes, Aiden picked up a spoonful of eggs. "Fine. Open your mouth."
Leo obeyed, smiling like it was the best meal in the world.
"Perfect," he said. "Because you gave it to me."
"You're impossible," Aiden muttered, but he was laughing too.
The room filled with warmth—until Aiden's phone buzzed on the table. His smile faded when he saw the name flashing across the screen.
Leo noticed at once. His hand covered Aiden's.
"Who is it?"
Aiden's lips trembled. "…It's him. Damin."
Leo's playful mood vanished. His eyes hardened.
"Don't answer. He's not taking you from me."
The phone kept buzzing, a sharp reminder of danger. Leo turned it face down.
"Forget him. Today is our day. Let's go shopping and enjoy ourselves."
Aiden forced a smile. "Okay… shopping sounds nice."
Leo kissed his forehead. "Good. I want to see you smiling all day."
The two walked through the city hand in hand. The streets buzzed with music, food stalls, and laughter. For the first time in days, Aiden felt light.
"Leo, look at that shirt!" he pointed at a store window. "It would look so good on you."
Leo chuckled. "If I wear it, you'll just steal it and wear it around the house."
Aiden blushed. "…Maybe."
They tried on clothes, shared ice cream, and laughed together. For a little while, Aiden forgot about fear.
But safety never lasts long.
While Leo paid for shoes, Aiden stepped outside to answer a call from Lucas. He didn't notice the black car parked nearby.
The door slid open. A hand grabbed him, covering his mouth. Before he could scream, a sharp sting hit his neck. His vision blurred, and the last thing he saw was the city spinning away.
When Aiden woke up, he wasn't on the busy streets anymore. He was in a dark, spacious room, seated on a chair. His wrists were tied with silky ribbons. His body felt heavy and weak.
Looking down, his face burned with shame. He was no longer in his clothes—he was dressed in a black-and-white maid's outfit, lace trimming the sleeves and skirt.
Slow clapping echoed through the room.
"Well, well," a smooth voice said. "My beautiful Omega finally looks the way I want."
Damin stepped closer, his eyes gleaming with twisted hunger.
Aiden struggled against the ribbons, voice shaking. "Damin… let me go! Leo will come for me!"
Damin smirked, tilting Aiden's chin with one finger.
"That Alpha? He can't protect you forever. Here, you belong to me. You'll serve me—like the perfect little maid you are."
Tears filled Aiden's eyes. But deep in his chest, one hope kept him steady—Leo would come. He would never stop until he found him.
