Chapter 227: Manaphy Hatching
Kyogre swam rapidly, moving quickly towards the Manaphy Egg. Suddenly, a large group of dark, metallic objects appeared ahead. Ryan looked closely: Holy crap! Torpedoes!
Ryan immediately released Greninja. Greninja, seeing the dozen or so torpedoes rushing towards it, drew its Water Blade and unleashed a razor-sharp Water Shuriken Slash. The difference between Water Shuriken Slash on land and in the sea is like heaven and earth! On land, a Water Shuriken Slash is usually only about half a meter long, but in the sea, aided by the ocean, it's at least two meters long. Unleashed at full power, a slash over ten meters long hurtled towards the torpedo swarm.

While Ryan and his group were rushing towards Phantom, those who had successfully retrieved the Manaphy Egg in the massive submarine began to surface, simultaneously recovering the helicopters in the sky.
Phantom entered the submarine's recovery room. Looking at the Manaphy Egg, he said, "This thing will fulfill my ambition. Just you wait, Sea Crown. Hahahaha..."
As he spoke, he reached for the container holding the Egg. Before he could finish laughing, a pair of hands snatched the container away.
"What are you doing?!" Phantom shouted.
The man dressed as a crew member chuckled, "Using this as a tool to achieve your ambitions would be troublesome."
"Arrest him!" Phantom yelled.
But just then, a loud bang shook the entire submarine. The man seized the opportunity, kicking over two crew members and running away.
"Chase him! Don't let that traitor get away!" Phantom roared angrily.
But just as the crew were about to give chase, another violent tremor struck, and they all collapsed. Phantom roared angrily, "Who dares to attack me?!"
Just then, a crew member ran in and said, "Boss, it's bad! Someone's using Kyogre to attack our submarine!"
"What are we waiting for?! Get the torpedoes and blast them to pieces!" Phantom shouted.
"It's no use! One of their Greninja has destroyed all the gun emplacements, so we can't retaliate at all. The submarine already has two big holes blasted in it. If we keep this up, this submarine will probably sink!"
"Everyone, get to the deck! I want to see who dares to attack me!" Phantom said furiously.
When all of Phantom's crew got to the deck, they saw a man and a woman standing on Kyogre, along with a Greninja. That's right, it was Ryan and Lillie. Ryan, using his voice amplified by Psychic, shouted, "Listen up, you people in the submarine! You're surrounded! If you know what's good for you, come out and surrender! Return what you stole! You dare to steal my things? You don't want to live anymore!"
Phantom nearly choked: He had never seen such a shameless person! When did the Egg become his?!
Even the man who had just emerged from the submarine was stunned by Ryan's shameless statement, staring blankly at him. Ryan, with his sharp eyes, spotted the man carrying a bag; from the bag, a corner of the Manaphy Egg container was clearly visible.
"Hey there, friend, thanks for your hard work. We've been chasing this Egg for a while. Could you hand it over to us?" Ryan said with a smile.
"Have you no shame? I won't give this to any of you. I'm returning it to where it belongs," the man said.
Just as he was about to leave, a Water Shuriken Slash struck at his feet. If he had taken another step, the wound on the submarine would have been his fate.
Phantom: ...My ship!
Ryan frowned and said, "Leave it to me. I'll hatch it, and whether it leaves or stays, I won't stop it. I'll stake my reputation as the head of the Mercenary Guild on it. But if you take it away, I'll consider you one of them, and I won't show any mercy."
The man was silent, and after considering for a long time, he said, "I hope you keep your promise."
After saying that, he threw the bag directly at Ryan. At this moment, the Chatot next to Phantom flew rapidly towards the bag, intending to grab it back.

"Tch. What are you thinking? I wanted to ask you, where exactly is the Sea Crown? If we don't know its exact location, how are we going to send Manaphy back?" Ryan said.
After saying that, Ryan used his Psychic to directly transfer the man to Kyogre.
"Ryan, it seems like it's about to hatch," Lillie said.
Ryan and the man turned around, and the Pokémon Egg was already emitting a red light. Lillie quickly took the Pokémon Egg out of the container. As soon as the Egg was taken out of the container, the red light gradually dissipated, and a white light flashed. The shape of the Egg changed, and gradually, a cute blue Pokémon appeared in Lillie's arms.
Manaphy is a small, blue Pokémon with two long, spherical antennae on its head. Its irises are dark blue, its sclera is yellow, and two lines extend from its eyes, connecting to two yellow dots. It has a red gem on its chest, below which is a yellow dot. Its arms are longer than its body, but its legs are thick and short.
"Uh...it seems it sees her as its mother," the man said, watching Manaphy affectionately nuzzle against Lillie, somewhat exasperated.
Ryan was also a little concerned: The promised legendary Pokémon capture seems to be in jeopardy!
