Chapter 34 - The Luminous Assembly

I woke up without much effort, although I slept with one eye open due to the anxiety!

I carefully put on my uniform—it was elegant and comfortable. It consisted of soft trousers, a gentle T-shirt, and over it a distinctive tunic featuring the school's symbol: a heart formed by three crystals in white, blue, and red, creating purple reflections . Two hands seemed to support the crystal as if it were floating, while above it was an illuminated semicircle with five successive lines. I also added the short cape that reached my elbows. The collars indicated our class and year—mine had only one line, symbolizing the beginning.

I got ready quickly and left the room, following my Codex. As I descended the grand staircase, I wondered what life was like in Hitomi's and Galaxia's academies. "You're daydreaming again!" I thought, smiling widely.

Arriving at the meeting area, I found it already full of students. I rushed to catch up, but my haste caused a small accident: I accidentally bumped into a girl, knocking her down with me. We both blushed with embarrassment. I helped her stand up, apologizing. When she smiled at me, I felt a faint flutter in my heart. I awkwardly greeted her and quickly moved away.

The space was impressive, with an organized podium in the center. My Codex guided me to my place—somewhere at the back, almost in the center. "Back again..." I sighed.

Eight professors ascended the podium—four women and four men, wearing half-capes with the academy's symbol in different colors. My Codex revealed their names. They were all Diamond Rank:

Vini Apeia: Professor of Healing, with a sweet and reassuring aura.

Eitki Ergio: Professor of History, with a gaze full of passion.

Kron Tsima: Professor of Herbs, full of smiles and energy.

Elr-Ray Tleuve: Professor of Fortune, with mysterious indifference.

Ka-Ele Ieseta: Professor of Crystals, serious and calm.

Obliv Fils: Professor of Weapons and Teratology. He was strict but fair, his deep voice declaring: "They are not just objects or monsters. They are stories we must learn to tell."

Stella Plemes: Professor of Hierarchy of Powers, imposing and strict.

Creteros Flemis: Professor of Divine Power, full of self-confidence.

Professor Stellas took the floor: "Welcome, everyone! We will give you the tools you need to move forward. No one is superior or inferior—every power is unique."
