Where… am I?" Joseph's voice trembled, swallowed by the endless void. No weight. No limbs. Just the haunting sensation of movement. He turned—though he wasn't sure how—and saw nothing but infinite darkness stretching beyond comprehension.
"Is this… hell?" he whispered, the words barely escaping his formless being, yet echoing like a scream in a hollow eternity.
For just a bit moment of observing, Something shifted—like the darkness itself was alive, swirling. His gut twisted. he Narrowed his eyes, he saw it "what the?", a ginormous, human-like figure slowly merging, Joseph froze, eyes darting up—then up even more. The figure kept growing larger the closer it loomed, until its head vanished into the darkness above. Its glowing eyes burned like twin suns staring straight into his soul.
His jaw dropped wide open, almost unhinged. "You gotta be kidding me…" he whispered, voice cracking.
Then—
The giant's hand came down like a falling mountain. Joseph flailed, twisting, panicked—Joseph's instincts screamed. He jerked his body, flailing like mad, but he didn't move an inch. Just floated there, stuck in place like an idiot.
"Ohhh no no no—WHY AM I NOT MOVING?!" he screamed, face stretched in pure terror as the massive fingers curled toward him.
Joseph's mouth hung wide as the colossal hand shadowed over him. His panicked eyes darted left and right, like there was anywhere to run.
"Am I… am I gonna die AGAIN?!" Joseph's scream tore through the silence, his voice cracking into a shrill, broken squeal. His trembling hands clamped over his head as if trying to hold his skull together.
The colossal hand wrapped around Joseph like a toy, lifting him effortlessly. His legs kicked uselessly, arms flailing.
Then, a thunderous voice rolled out from above, so deep it rattled his bones: "SILENCE, MORTAL."
Joseph instantly froze… only for his lips to blurt out again, "Yea, yeah...sure, but, uh… don't kill me?"
The massive figure tilted its glowing head then added "If I wanted you dead… you wouldn't be screaming right now."
Joseph blinked, sweating, then Without warning, the giant figure grip loosened, "huh?".
Joseph plummeted like a ragdoll, arms and legs flapping, screaming that echoed whole way down until he smacked onto nothingness with a comedic "WHUMP!" He groaned, flat on his back. "… my head…" Joseph groaned on the invisible floor, still dizzy from the toss. From above, the figure's voice boomed again, this time smoother, almost casual:
"Wanna know why I summoned you, Joseph—"
Joseph, not even looking up, waved a weak hand. "Ahh… n, no thanks."
The glowing eyes blinked, confused. "…Ahhh… really? Why? You don't wanna know tha—" the big guy pause, while Joseph was already tiptoeing away like a cartoon mouse, moving in slow-motion stealth, while The giant figure tilted its head, expression unreadable—half serious, half mockingly amused.
"...And where do you think you're going...? deep voice rumbled, curling around Joseph like a chain
Joseph froze mid-step, his breath hitching. A crooked, defeated smile crept onto his face as he forced a chuckle.
"Oh!... Just… stretching my legs," he said, voice wavering, lifting his arm, rotating his hand counterclockwise in a mock stretch.
Then—
a thunderous snap ripped through the silence. He froze—eyes wide—just as the void itself splintered, jagged cracks racing outward like shattered glass.
'what's happening?'
Lines of light split across the darkness like shattered glass. The black peeled away, dissolving into swirling galaxies and blazing stars. Planets spun into existence, comets streaked past, and colors Joseph had never seen before painted the vast nothingness. It all moved like a time-lapse of creation itself—chaotic yet breathtaking.
Joseph floated in the center of it all, weightless, his body glowing faintly… the figure standing right in front of him almost as if he wasn't separate from this new cosmos, but part of it. His outline shimmered, blending into the tapestry of stars like a missing piece snapping into place.
His not just any ordinary colossal figure... But a god...
Joseph's jaw dropped again. "Oh… holy shi—"
The big guy voice rolled out, calm yet echoing with power: "Now… do I have your attention?"
Joseph's throat tightened, breath shallow as sweat traced cold lines down his neck.
He blinked rapidly, mouth quivering as he forced out broken words. "Wha… what do you want from me?"
The towering figure leaned closer, its glowing eyes locking onto Joseph's trembling form. until the voice came, low and deliberate:
"I summoned you… to help me." A pause, the void itself holding its breath. "And in return…" the grin widened, sharp as fate itself, "…I'll help you...."
