Chapter 36 - The Clash of Wolves”

The schoolyard was thick with tension. Students whispered nervously as Daniel walked through, each step calm, deliberate, like a predator claiming its territory. His black blazer was crisp, white shirt perfectly pressed, spectacles glinting in the sun. His eyes were sharp, cold, and merciless—silent warnings to anyone daring to oppose him.

From across the yard, Logan Lee observed him. A senior, tall, broad-shouldered, infamous for his cruelty, he ruled his year with iron fists. Today, he wasn't here for money, or for petty threats. He was here to crush Daniel.

Logan's cronies flanked him, shifting nervously as their leader stepped forward, lips curling into a cruel grin.

"You think that little stunt this morning makes you untouchable?" Logan's voice was low, sharp, filled with venom. "I don't want money from you. I don't want apologies. I want to destroy you—make you regret ever opening your mouth in my school."

Daniel's face stayed composed, his small smile cold, almost playful. He didn't flinch.

"You're insane," Daniel replied, calm, measured. "You want to hurt me? Fine. Just remember: the second you strike, you're walking into a trap you won't survive."

Logan barked a laugh, cruel and full of arrogance. "A trap? I'm not scared of some puny kid! I've crushed people far stronger than you without thinking twice!"

Daniel's eyes narrowed. His voice was ice-cold, dripping with menace:

"Keep laughing, Logan. You'll get your chance… but only once. When I strike, it won't just hurt. It'll destroy everything you care about. And I don't mean just you—it'll be your whole world that collapses."

The students surrounding them went silent, sensing the predator behind Daniel's calm exterior. Logan's cronies shifted uneasily, realizing this kid was not what he seemed.

Logan's grin turned into a snarl. "Enough talk. I'll enjoy crushing you myself, little punk."

Daniel's small, cruel smile widened. "Do what you want, Logan. But remember… I never strike first. I wait. And when I do, you won't even see it coming."

The tension was palpable, every student frozen. The air felt electric, thick with the promise of the coming storm.

As the school bell rang, signaling the end of break, Daniel took a slow, measured step forward. Logan's eyes blazed red with fury, teeth clenched, knuckles white.

The first clash of wills between Daniel Park—the monster in human form—and Logan Lee, the cruel senior tyrant was about to begin.

And every student knew… nobody would ever forget what was about to unfold.
