"Kayson! This isn't Hogwarts, please act like a normal person!" Dumbledore gritted his teeth, condensing his voice into a thread that drilled into Kayson's ear.
"OKOK….."
On the other side, Roserma also appropriately suggested that the two of them go out for a drink.
"Uh, that's not necessary, is it?" Kayson said subconsciously.
Roserma still wore that smile, but it was a bit stiff: "Didn't you say you wanted a drink? Why don't you want one now?"
"I do want a drink, but I don't want to go out… Or you could mail the alcohol to Hogwarts?"
After Kayson said this, Dumbledore, who was sitting next to him, immediately stopped smiling and looked at Kayson with the gaze one would reserve for an alien.
"Huh? You don't want… the two of us to go out alone?" Roserma said, forcing herself.
Kayson shook his head.
"Then why did you agree when I said we could get together when I returned to England?"
"You didn't say it could only be the two of us. Perhaps we could invite our respective friends," Kayson said as if it were obvious.
Roserma's bewildered gaze subtly shifted towards Karkaroff, and soon Karkaroff's gaze conveyed a message back.
"Get him to agree and I'll give you a raise!"
Roserma took a deep breath: "I beg you, just the two of us, go out for a drink!"
Kayson shook his head: "My mom doesn't let me go to bars alone."
"Aren't there two of us? And aren't you an orphan?"
"She also doesn't let me go with strangers, and I'm not an orphan. I have a happy, harmonious family, even if they aren't in this world."
Roserma maintained a polite smile on her face, but in reality, she had almost ground her teeth to dust.
The only thing she wanted to do at this moment was to quickly write to her aunt and tell her to add extra ingredients to the Professor's drink next time he visited her.
However, she quickly adjusted her mindset, perhaps blinded by the promise of a raise from Karkaroff, so much so that she completely succumbed to the Galleon and said in a low, humble voice.
"Let me rephrase. We are both adults. Perhaps we can act like two adults, or to be more direct, I invite you to the bar, I'm begging you!"
"Oh!" Kayson finally understood this time. After all, as a Professor with extremely high emotional intelligence, how could he not understand such a clear hint? Then he said very considerately: "You're trying to pursue me, aren't you?"
Roserma was on the verge of tears. The only thing she wanted to do right now was to quickly pull out her wand, give Karkaroff a good hit, then rob his vault and all the Galleons he had embezzled from the school board over the years, and run away.
However, the cruel reality, like gravity, pulled her dreams back down.
"Yes! Will you accept my request?"
Kayson looked up at the ceiling at a 45-degree angle, after a full five-second pause…
"No."
"Huh?" Roserma's expression, rarely seen, showed some collapse.
"Look, I'm a male, you're a female. Our genders aren't compatible. Uh, it's quite unfortunate, I'm sorry… I'm not saying there's anything wrong with you. In fact, you're the most beautiful Witch I've ever seen, but as I said, our genders don't match," Kayson explained with high emotional intelligence.
He believed his rhetoric would perfectly save face for both of them, and Roserma, for a moment, had an urge to cry, but she forced herself to hold it back.
However, she couldn't bear to stay in this damned conference room any longer. She immediately walked out without looking back, seemingly subtly wiping the corner of her eye with her hand.
"Was I a bit too much? I think I did a great job of preserving both our dignities, right?" Kayson whispered to Dumbledore.
"You… forget it, it's fine…" Dumbledore sighed helplessly, while Karkaroff, who had chased after her for only a few seconds, was directly flung back by a purple spell.
"It seems Miss Roserma isn't in a very good mood right now," Kayson said, completely oblivious.
Successfully silencing the other four in the conference room.
Finally, Madam Maxim and Professor Pond broke the silence.
Madam Maxim's clever mind recalled what Kayson had just said.
"Our genders don't match."
So, what if the genders did match?
She immediately signaled Professor Pond with her eyes.
Poor Professor Pond, at his old age, was still being forced by the Principal to engage in dirty hook-ups.
He blushed, sat next to Kayson, and reached out to touch Kayson's thigh, which was only covered by a single layer of pajama pants.
"Launch + Damage + Fireworks + Gravity."
Kayson swiftly used Newborn Magic Art to create a composite magic spell. The next moment, a red light abruptly appeared beside him and flew towards Pond.
With a whoosh, the poor Professor Pond flew straight through the window and out, reaching a perfect height before the gravity magic took over.
Almost instantly, an indescribable force of gravity was applied to him, causing him to rapidly plummet towards the ground.
Bang!!!
Roserma, who was in the hallway looking in a mirror and wondering if her charm had diminished, while secretly feeling dejected, watched as a figure fell from the sky, kicking up clouds of dust.
"What the hell?" She casually waved her hand out of curiosity, and a gentle breeze dispersed the dust, revealing Professor Pond, who was completely embedded in the ground.
She Apparated over, a little curious: "What happened to you?"
As the Alchemy amulet on Pond's chest completely shattered, he breathed a sigh of relief: "Can you do me a favor?"
"Mm-hmm?"
"Give Maxim a hard hit, just like you did to Karkaroff!"
Roserma nodded knowingly: "Karkaroff is my superior; hitting him is an internal matter for us Durmstrang. But if I hit Maxim… do you think I'm some kind of… knife?"
"Oh… then please help me up." Pond, seeing his long-shot plan fail, extended a hand helplessly.
"Heh heh."
Roserma had no good feelings for this colleague who treated her like a knife and a fool. She simply rolled her eyes and Apparated away, leaving Professor Pond still embedded in the ground.
"Dumbledore, I think it's not safe here anymore… You didn't even know there were gays in the damn conference room!" Kayson complained in a low voice to Dumbledore.
And Dumbledore nodded as if it were obvious: "Then how do you see me?"
