Chapter 2 - Chapter 3 & 4

Chapter 3: Was That Pakura?

Panic struck the boy. He quickly walked out of the room, which turned out to have no door at all—just an open gap leading directly outside.

Once he arrived in the living room, the boy paused for a moment, his eyes scanning the surroundings with a confused expression.

This building… everything is made of sand.

"So, this whole place is really just compacted sand?"

However, something even stranger caught the boy's attention.

His eyes were immediately drawn to a door at the end of the room. Without thinking twice, he stepped closer to the door. But as he got a better look at it, his eyes widened.

"Even this door... is made of sand?!"

The boy's confusion deepened. How could something like this exist? How could a door, which should be solid, be made of sand?

With a look of astonishment, the boy approached and examined the details of the door. His eyes caught something—a key hanging in the keyhole.

Carefully, the boy reached out, his fingers trembling slightly as he touched the key. He then took a deep breath before slowly turning it.

"Click."

The door opened.

And the view outside left the boy even more astonished.

The entire village, as far as the eye could see, was made of sand. Towering buildings, streets, even the apartment he was in—all made from compacted sand.

"Damn... Is this even possible? But how? What could create all of this?"

The boy's bewildered gaze continued to sweep the surroundings, his mind struggling to comprehend the logic behind it all.

However, unbeknownst to him, a door next to his apartment room suddenly opened.

A voice interrupted the boy's thoughts.

"Can you be quiet?"

The boy's body instantly tensed.

His heart raced, and awkwardly and cautiously, he turned toward the source of the voice.

There stood a little girl.

The girl had pale skin with brown, pupil-less eyes. Her green hair was tied into a bun on top of her head, with a hairpin piercing through the bun. A few strands of short and long hair with orange tips framed both sides of her face.

She wore a sleeveless top with an open back and tight shorts that showcased her figure. There were two small collars at the front and back, completing her appearance. Additionally, she wore an obi around her waist, purple arm warmers extending to her shoulders, and bandages wrapped around her tight shorts and ankles.

Seeing the girl, the boy froze in place. The shock was so great that he fell silent, seemingly at a loss for words for a moment.

"Um... Umph!" The little girl walked down the stairs with light steps.

Only after she disappeared from view did the boy's expression finally change.

"Wasn't that... Wasn't that Pakura?" the boy murmured softly, his face still filled with astonishment.

The boy was Souta, or more precisely, Souta Tetsu. However, instead of dying in a workplace accident due to a massive explosion, Souta now found himself in the body of a boy named Souta—without a last name. Even more surprising, Souta realized that he had been reborn in the world of Naruto after his death.

As someone familiar with this story, Souta couldn't hide his surprise. Not only was Souta in Sunagakure, the weakest and poorest of the Five Great Villages, but he was also living in the same apartment as Pakura—even having a room adjacent to hers!

...

Chapter 4: Souta's Uncertainty

If asked who Pakura is, the answer is quite simple. In the world of Naruto, Sunagakure doesn't have many standout characters. However, among the few that exist, Pakura is an exception. She is not only beautiful and sexy but also strong and possesses a Kekkei Genkai. It's no wonder Pakura's name is so memorable to fans. And now, Souta is living in the same world as her!

Even though it had been years since he last watched the Naruto anime, Souta could still remember most of the characters and storylines. How could he not? Souta has a pretty good memory.

Souta had watched the entire Naruto series, from beginning to end. However, there was one thing he avoided—Boruto. Why? Because in Souta's opinion, that anime was utterly stupid and crazy. He had no interest in watching it at all.

Nevertheless, Souta was still aware of some events that took place in the Boruto era. After all, clips from the anime were scattered everywhere. Unfortunately for him, all of that only reinforced Souta's view that the quality of Boruto was far below that of its predecessor.

That's why Souta had a decent understanding of the Naruto world. And when he realized that he was now truly in that world, Souta's shock was unavoidable.

Why? Because in Souta's opinion, this world was completely insane.

"Forget about Pakura, I need to become stronger so I can survive in this world... But the question is, is that even possible...?" Souta muttered with a stunned expression.

However, suddenly, Souta realized something.

"Wait... How do I know that this kid's name is also Souta? Ugh!"

As that thought crossed his mind, a sharp pain suddenly struck Souta's head.

He fell to the floor, lying there while holding his head. In that instant, foreign memories began to flood Souta's mind.

They did not belong to Souta Tetsu.

They were the memories of this little boy.

Little Souta was an orphan who had lived in an orphanage since childhood. However, when little Souta turned five, he had to start training at the Ninja Academy.

As a result, little Souta was moved to a simple apartment in the western part of the village. Before living there, he had taken the entrance exam for the Ninja Academy—and he passed. As a result, he was provided with housing and a monthly allowance to survive until he graduated from the academy and became an official ninja.

Realizing all this, Souta's breath began to quicken. The information that had just flowed into his mind felt so real and suffocating.

"Haah... Haah... Haah..." Souta gasped, his heart racing as the warm, piercing sensation in his head slowly subsided. Cold sweat trickled down his temples, and his breath was still heavy as he stared at the old wooden floor, which was starting to crack in some places.

"This reality is truly real... I am in the Naruto world..."

Souta lifted his head, his slightly blurred eyes slowly focusing on the morning light beginning to enter through the door of his apartment room. The sky was still adorned with a faint orange hue, while the dry wind of Sunagakure blew through the gaps in the walls, carrying fine grains of sand that scattered across the floor of the room.

Taking a deep breath, Souta tried to calm his still chaotic mind.

"If according to little Souta's memories, the Ninja Academy will start in a month from now..." Souta murmured softly. "I need to start training... But what should I do? Can I feel and use chakra?"
