{AURORA'S POV}
When Scarlett said she wanted to talk, I didn't know what to expect.
She didn't say a word as she brushed past me and stepped into my room. Her perfume lingered in the air and for a moment, I just stood there, watching her move like she owned the very space she walked into. Which she did, of course.
"Close the door, sweetheart," she said softly, her voice honeyed but calm.
I did as she asked. The faint click of the latch echoed in the still room.
Scarlett sat on the edge of my bed, crossing one long leg over the other. Her crimson dress shimmered in the lamplight, her expression unreadable.
"Sit," she said, gesturing to the chair beside her.
I hesitated, then sat. The silence stretched between us for a few heartbeats then finally, she spoke.
"I'd like to know more about you."
That caught me off guard. "You want to know more about… me?"
"Yes," she nodded slowly. "Let's start with your full name, shall we?"
