As Noona stepped through the symbol gate, silver light enveloped her. The alley dissolved, replaced by a hazy blend of shadows and light, as if she were floating between times.
Her gaze fell upon a young woman standing in the courtyard of an ancient mansion. Her face seemed familiar, yet she had never seen her before—Irin.
Irin moved closer, calm and composed, her eyes speaking a language Noona could almost understand. Noona's heart raced—not with fear, but with an odd sense of recognition.
"Who… are you?" Noona whispered.
Irin smiled faintly, as though she knew all the questions in Noona's mind. "I am… the shadow you have touched in your dreams."
The courtyard was filled with remnants of ancient rituals. The faint echo of old music carried in the air, and the flickering candlelight made the energy between them almost tangible.
"Why do I feel like I know you?" Noona asked.
"Because our bloodlines are connected… your story and mine have always intertwined," Irin replied. "And the Khon Mask… is the key to linking past and present."
Excitement and fear battled within Noona. The mystery was far from over, yet she began to understand that the whispers and the symbols in the old book had led her here—to Irin.
"I will help you uncover the truth… but you must choose whether to open your heart to it," Irin said, then vanished in a flash of light, leaving Noona standing amidst silence and the echoes of the whispers within her mind.
