A towering figure emerged from the mist that shrouded the battlefield. His storm-gray eyes were calm yet piercing. He was Akarthara — the Death-Half Divinity, lost for a millennium. His return sent tremors through the three realms; the worlds of gods, humans, and shadows alike felt the force of a power beyond comprehension.
Akarthara approached with measured steps, emanating an aura of absolute authority. Half of his body radiated divine light, the other half cast in shadow, as if death itself were entwined with his being. His gaze met the fox-god protectors, who froze in shock.
"I have returned… for destiny has decreed that you shall lead the three realms," he said, his voice soft yet brimming with unassailable power.
The fox gods split into factions—some trembled, some scowled, yet some hesitated. Akarthara's power was unlike any they had known; they could sense the sincerity and resolve that coursed through him.
The man in the black cloak lunged forward, blocking him.
"Who are you, and what do you want with our heir?"
Akarthara answered only with his calm, unwavering gaze.
"I am no enemy. I have come to help Nuhna understand her power, so that such catastrophe will never strike again."
Slowly, he approached Nuhna, drawing near to her unconscious form amidst the astonished eyes of all present. He reached out and gently touched her forehead. A golden light radiated from him, spreading across Nuhna, gradually consuming the darkness and anguish that had taken root in her heart.
"I do not awaken you. I am here to let you rest and begin anew… so that the days ahead may hold a second chance," he said, his tone tender yet firm.
For a moment, the fox gods were silent. As Akarthara's power intertwined with the light within Nuhna, the once-chaotic battlefield stilled. Hope and awareness began to stir in the hearts of all who watched.
