Chapter 45 - Ep.45Catastrophe of Light

Suddenly, Noonah's eyes blurred. The world before her was replaced by images from the past—

Flames engulfed entire villages. The cries of children calling for their mothers. People were chained in the town square, some whipped until their blood spattered, others tortured to death. Pleas for mercy echoed, mingling with the cruel laughter of soldiers.

Blood soaked the earth; even the sea turned a deep red.

Noonah wept, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably. Her heart was squeezed by a pain that wasn't her own, but the sorrow of the people from the past that flooded her soul. She screamed, her body trembling.

"Stop... that's enough!"

As soon as the words left her lips, a massive light erupted from her body—a bright white mixed with a fiery gold. A tremendous power shook heaven and earth. The waves that had been crashing suddenly broke into a fine mist. The roar of the sea became a momentary silence.

An immense pressure forced the entire army to their knees instinctively. Even their swords and shields warped from the force of the energy wave.

The man controlling the water halted his steps. The water barrier around him shattered. He looked at Noonah with stunned eyes, his dark blue eyes trembling. "This is… the power of catastrophe."

Noonah continued to weep, her tears mixing with the surging light. Rage and sorrow left her nearly unconscious. The overwhelming light cracked the ground and shook the sky.

But before everything could fall apart, she raised her hand, pulling the energy back into her body. The light remained brilliant but no longer erupted as it did before. It was a calm light—but filled with a warning.

The entire battlefield fell silent. No one dared to even breathe heavily.

The man controlling the water spoke slowly, as if making a proclamation—

"If you awaken to your full power… the three realms will be destroyed."

Everyone's eyes immediately understood—if they stubbornly continued the fight, this power would inevitably bring catastrophe to all things.
