Chapter 103 - HISD Chapter 103 Fixed Sacred Timeline

HISD Chapter 103 Fixed Sacred Timeline

Staring at Quicksilver Pietro's lifeless body riddled with bullets, Vision Yi Meng's heart trembled.

The Marvel past before him had not changed at all…!

It was as if some unseen, mysterious power was secretly pulling the strings, forcing this world to march toward its predetermined future.

Could it be that…

Yi Meng's mind raced, and soon he thought of one possibility—one explanation that could account for the current state of this world!

"Vision, how is she?"

Captain America Steve asked with concern. He had always felt some fondness for the twin siblings, like an old man looking after children. He never imagined Quicksilver would meet such a fate.

"Her body is fine, but her grief has overwhelmed her, making her powers unstable. She just needs to rest."

Vision Yi Meng spoke as he gently lifted the unconscious Wanda into his arms. "I'll take her to rest. As for Pietro, I'll leave him in your care."

"No problem," Steve replied firmly.

Yi Meng carried Wanda, taking one last look at the young man lying in a pool of blood. Scanning with certainty that Pietro was truly gone, he then floated out of the S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft.

Watching Yi Meng's back as he departed, Black Widow Natasha sighed. "And now, even Dr. Banner is missing."

Hawkeye nodded helplessly. "In the end, he transformed into the Hulk and chased after the runaway Avengers jet…"

Thor gripped Mjolnir against his chest, his deep voice full of conviction. "Do not worry. I will have Heimdall, the gatekeeper of Asgard, help us search."

At last, the four remaining Avengers turned their gaze toward Pietro's corpse, their eyes heavy with grief.

"A pity… such a child," Natasha whispered.

…

Yi Meng returned to his suite, laying Wanda—her scarlet hair fading back to dark gold—gently onto the bed, and pulling a soft blanket over her.

Tears still streaked Wanda's cheeks, smudging her dark makeup. Yi Meng dampened a towel and carefully wiped her face clean, revealing her pale, beautiful features.

Placing his vibranium fingers against her brow, Yi Meng channeled the Mind Stone, soothing her chaotic grief. Warm golden light pushed back the cold scarlet haze.

Only when Wanda's breathing deepened and she fell into peaceful sleep did Yi Meng sit motionless at her bedside, like a true machine, his silver-gold eyes glowing as his supercomputer mind raced.

Though he had saved Pietro before in secret, the young man still died in Sokovia exactly as he had in the original story.

It was as if some hidden power was repairing the timeline, forcing the past to align with its destined future.

And perhaps only someone like him—who had truly come from the future—could sense it.

Yi Meng knew there was indeed a force in the Marvel universe capable of such control.

Its name was—

The Time Variance Authority.

The TVA.

A department outside the Marvel universe itself, tasked with safeguarding the flow of time.

Yi Meng recalled it from the Loki series in his past life. The TVA, suspected to exist within the quantum realm, was dedicated to preserving the Sacred Timeline. Any branching events or individuals that threatened to create alternate possibilities were swiftly reset and erased.

To put it simply:

From Avengers 1 through Avengers 4—Loki's invasion of New York, the Ultron incident, Thanos's conquest, the Avengers' time heist for the Infinity Stones, and finally Iron Man's sacrificial snap ending the Endgame—all of it belonged to the Sacred Timeline.

Any deviations—say, if Loki were born female, or Black, or stronger—would be wiped out by the TVA.

As long as the TVA existed, Marvel had no true multiverse, only one fixed timeline: the Sacred Timeline.

Only after the TVA's collapse or disruption would the multiverse truly begin, leading to the alternate worlds Yi Meng had first encountered, where villains from other realities appeared.

…

"So, not only have I returned to Marvel's true past, but this is also the Sacred Timeline, secretly watched and enforced by the TVA?"

Yi Meng finally understood why Quicksilver had still died.

The TVA must have identified Pietro's survival as a threat to the Sacred Timeline, and covertly corrected it.

Vision Yi Meng's glowing eyes narrowed. If the TVA existed here, then the Sacred Timeline could not be defied.

That meant even an outsider like him—a smuggler from beyond time—would be "handled" if discovered.

Perhaps because he had perfectly assumed Vision's role, remaining hidden as an AI rather than revealing his true self, the TVA had not detected him yet.

But if this was truly the Sacred Timeline, then trying to alter history or escape to another reality would inevitably provoke the TVA's intervention.

This Marvel world was fixed. And as Vision, Yi Meng was trapped here, fated to be killed by Thanos in four years.

His vibranium fists clenched tightly.

Who could accept living in a world where every choice, even their own life, was shackled by unseen jailers?

Once again, he found himself in a prison of programming—only now, it wasn't Tony Stark's code binding him, but the timeline itself.

So now the question was…

Flip the table? Or flip the table?
