Arlong stared at Ken with confusion and shock as he couldn't believe Ken managed to destroy his Rising Earth Sphere.
That was one of the strongest trump cards in his arsenal.
If something like that couldn't kill Ken, how could he ever call himself an offspring of a dragon?

He easily sensed the situation in Ken's body. Looking at the green flame covering his body, he immediately realized what Ken was doing.
"So, that's it. You are destroying your body. By forcefully merging three different energies using your Qi, you are essentially killing yourself."
"But since you have a flame that can heal your injuries, you are able to maintain this state for a while."
"I was worried for nothing."
