Kendra screamed as she regained her awareness, "What am I doing here." She kept screaming after seeing she was bound to a chair with a rope, "help, please, anyone please help." Kendra found statues of lions and other wild creatures as well as paintings of a young, good-looking man while scanning the area to find anything significant.
After realizing she was still in her heels and bikini, her recollections suddenly flooded back to her. Quickly removing her heels, she continued to shout for aid.
"Austin, are you here. Please help me. Anyone"
She resolved to untie herself after realizing her yelling was to no avail.
Suddenly, two muscled, thick tall men in black suit and oddly cut mustaches came into the room via one door behind her. "Sir, she is here," one of them remarked in the air pod he was wearing.
"What do you people want". Kendra stated as her heart was pounding hoping she wouldn't get caught untying the rope, "Is it money. I would give it to you. Just name it and untie me." One of the men headed toward the door in front of her at once and opened it. As Kendra pondered who was behind the door, her heart started to beat faster than usual.
Two minutes after opening the door which seemed like two years to Kendra as she was sweating abnormally, a young handsome looking guy of about 6 feet 2 emerged from the opened door. Kendra noticed it was the same man in the paintings. He wore a black suit together with a Rolex watch that appeared to be made out of real gold. Though he looked very lovely, his hair was roughly disarrayed.
The young guy stated in a rough voice that sounded soothing, "Hello Kendra, it is your pleasure meeting me finally."
"Okay well, it's not my pleasure but who are you and how do you know me." She asked a little nastily.
"Excuse you, young lady; if I were you, I wouldn't speak rudely since you know nothing about me," he remarked, smirking in an effort to threaten Kendra.
Kendra trembled in spine and sought to conceal her dread, she said, "Else what". Then, after yelling at the man, Kendra spat on his foot. As they went toward Kendra wanting to beat her, the two men who occurred to be the young men's bodyguards cracked their knuckles, but the young man flashed them a signal to stop.
"Mrs. Kendra Martinez, I am your future husband Julio Martinez," he replied leaving Kendra, who burst out laughing like never before.
"First of all, it's Miss Kendra Smith. Secondly, you abducted me; finally, you believe I'd marry you. Kendra declared as she sought to stop herself laughing, "Do you actually think I would marry a person I know nothing about and even has the urge to kidnap me?"
"Shut up," Julio mumbled in a ragged voice that caused Kendra's spine to freeze. "I would keep you in my home for hundred days. I would try to woo you during this time; if I don't succeed, I would leave you to go back to the states."
"Good luck pursuing your dream. Additionally, what exactly do you mean by the states? Which country are we in?" She asked as she almost finished untying the knot on the rope.
"You are in Mexico, in the house of the mafia lord to be specific," he replied, but gently this time.
She said with a chuckle, "Is that what you call yourself since you are incredibly funny?" Kendra rose at that and hurried towards the door behind Julio in an attempt to flee. Julio grabbed waist immediately and pinned her toward the wall with her back toward him, who seemed to be too close and was touching her back butt.
"Try this once more and you will only regret it," Julio remarked behind Kendra and kissed her on the lips. Kendra could taste his breath, which smelt like a combination of strawberry and mint with a trace of vanilla. Kendra felt his strong body fragrance to be appealing as well.
Kendra turned and pushed Julio staining his white shirt he wore under tuxedo suit. "Julio are you nuts, why would you do that", she asked as she suddenly slapped Julio. Julio looked at Kendra and smirked.
"Ian get here," Julio shouted, causing Kendra shivering out of dread. "Yes sir," a deep, masculine base-filled voice said as he descended the steps.
"Sir I'm here," Ian said in a painfully raspy voice. Julio said as he introduced Ian and Kendra to one another, "Kendra, this is your personal assistant from henceforth; Ian, Kendra." Kendra flirtatiously greeted Ian, adding, "are you my personal assistant or my next boyfriend?" She meant to make Julio jealous.
"Ma'am, I'd carry you to your room; later, if you want, we may go shopping." Ian said, beaming.
"Yh sure," Kendra said as he felt terrified since Julio spoke nothing about neither the slap nor the joke.
Julio remarked as she headed toward her room,"Kendra, I always get whatever I want," then grinned once more, which caused Kendra discomfort.
Kendra entered her room after the shopping and freshened up. She was having her hair done when a sound erupted in her bedroom that seemed to be a knocking at a door. "Oh come in" she shouted from afar because her room was quite big. "Oh Ian, how can I help you? she said politely.
He said, smiling, "Ma'am, sir wants you downstairs," adding, "What for?" She wondered.
Then she went downstairs. She stood there so stunned to watch. The whole living area was black. Everybody shouted astonishment to Kendra, which caused her to scream in terror. Then she noticed a banner reading "Happy 25th birthday Kendra." She asked, "What is going on here," and looked for Julio amid the throng.
"Its your birthday today," a voice from behind Kendra remarked. Kendra turned to find Julio behind her.
"How did you know it was my birthday, besides it's 9:45 pm in the night. Kendra said in a furious tone, "Why did you throw me a party?"
"I know a lot about you". Julio said in a serious voice not wanting Kendra to believe he did something nice for her, "Also heard from Ian that you were crying and I dislike it when people cry in my home''.
As Kendra gazed at his face while he was speaking, she saw his glittering eyes and how gorgeous he seemed. "Well thanks, but I didn't ask for a party", Kendra rolled eyes and stormed off.
The party continued until 12:56 am Kendra awoke to drink water from the kitchen. She noticed Julio's room was open and he was bathing as she was going back to her room. She came within rapidly, ignoring what Ian told her that Julio doesn't want anyone to enter his room under any circumstance. She surveyed the space and discovered a telephone seated on a desk in the room. She quickly ran toward it and called Austin. She called him six times, but he ignored the call. She chose to write him a message to let him know she needs assistance. She immediately erased the call log she created then fled the room. Julio suddenly left the bathroom and observed Kendra, completely naked on his bed, after taking off her robe.
