Kendra wondered as she was making breakfast, "What did I do, why was I so foolish."
"You need not consider too much." From behind her, a voice said, "Nothing happened."
Scared, she turned gradually to see who it was. Kendra exclaimed as she showed a look of relief, "Oh Austin, you scared me there."
"I apologize if I did. As I entered you appeared to be pondering, therefore I assumed it was concerning last night." Austin remarked as Kendra battled her need to see how built his muscles were and how dreamy his eyes were.
"Uhmm, Yh I was hoping nothing happened," she said as she battled to stop admiring his arms.
"You didn't actually believe I'd take advantage of you, Did you?", He asked with a broad grin.
"Of course not". Austin understood Kendra was admiring him and opted to discuss something else.
"Are you making pancakes?" Austin questioned as he smiled. "Yes actually, you want some?" "Thought you'd never ask" he replied as they both laughed.
Then, as she liked, Kendra made pancakes with marshmallows and chocolate coffee. Austin asked, leaving Kendra bewildered, "How did you know this is how I prefer my chocolate coffee?" "No way, this is how I want my chocolate coffee," she stated leaving them both laughing.
"Wow, we have a lot more in common than we believe," Austin remarked as he delicately studied Kendra, who couldn't help but stare at his lovely face.
"Austin, I never understood how much you valued me. Have you always cared this much?" she murmured as she said in a flirty manner.
Austin said with a chuckle, "Well, you never gave me a chance."
"Kendra, you look good now. Hopefully you're over it now," he inquired sympathetically "I believe I'm not, yet I'm doing my best feasible. And yes, I look good because the pancakes are so great." Austin said, laughing, "I realized."
Austin asked in a way that sounded doubtful, "Kendra, what work would you be doing from now on since you are..."
"I don't know right now; I am just puzzled. I would check the internet to see whether there is any work in another firm for journalism" Kendra replied as Austin's phone vibrated suddenly.
Austin's face suddenly became stunned as he looked at the message on his phone. Kendra inquired, "What's wrong Austin, you seem a little stressed", as her heart started to beat as fast as she could. Wondering what kind of news would have showed up.
Austin remarked as Kendra could not believe what she had just heard, "I just got a text from the company stating I'd be partnering with a new journalist called Olivia Smith." As Kendra heard this news, her heart leaped a beat. She felt speechless as if a bomb went straight in her heart and exploded.
Austin remarked as he pulled his chair nearer to Kendra's, "I am so sorry." He next seized her hand, giving her some support.
"Kendra, you need not fret. She claimed she had exacted her revenge but it seems she desired more." Austin remarked as he attempted to motivate her, "I wouldn't care a bit if I were you". She rested her head on Austin's chest and smiled.
"You are right. Wait, I have a present for you." Kendra said as she ran into her room. She handed out beach tickets.
I intended to go with Richard to the shore; now, I hope you would come with me".
"Yes I would, Kendra." He said softly, which drew Kendra's smile.
Austin said as he smirk to Kendra, "Kendra, I have to go freshen up and go to the company."
"Alright then, I would send you off to the door," Kendra insisted as Austin rose to go. Kendra hugged Austin as they approached the door, startling him, but he also embraced her to avoid being unpleasant.
On the day of the event, Kendra came to knock at Austin's hotel room wearing a long transparent black coat hiding her inner red bikini and a two-inch-long red heels. As she continued knocking on the door but received no response, she enquired, "Austin, are you there?" She set out looking for him only to discover him standing in front of her car. Austin knelt in front of Kendra as she neared the vehicle; he said, "Happy birthday Kendra", and presented a wrapped gift.
"Wait what", Kendra said as she started to consider what day it is. "Wait today is actually my birthday" she screamed in excitement". Only for Kendra to view a 24 carat gold necklace as she opened the gift. "Is this gold?" she said tears of delight started to flow down her face. Austin wore the necklace for Kendra and wiped her tears.
"Don't worry, I have a surprise for you" he said holding Kendra's hands, which caused her to flush slightly.
"Actually, then what are we waiting for." She got into car and said, "Let's go with my car."
She started crying more once she arrived, but this time happily. At the beach, Austin threw a magnificent celebration for her. Kendra asked in a sobbing voice, "Is this for me."
"It absolutely is; happy birthday, Kendra."
Following the party, Kendra and Austin headed toward the ocean where Austin went swim and Kendra sat down to sunbathe. Kendra was astonished as Austin emerged from the water. From Austin's hair to his tough, rock hard abdomens, the droplets of water trickled gradually.
"He looks like an utter Angel," Kendra said to herself, admiring Austin.
"Come on Kendra, let's swim," Austin yelled excitedly from a ways off. Standing up, Kendra started giggling and moved toward Austin. Kendra stumbled after arriving there and was almost about to fall, but Austin rescued her just in time by holding her waist. Kendra saw Olivia kissing another guy on the beach during the action.
She sobbed desperately as she turned towards her car and sped from the scene. Austin didn't even run after her; she drove as fast as she could.
Coming out of the car to check on her bad tire, a band of males in black suit circled her. "She is here boss," one of them remarked, leading Kendra to wonder if the anonymous caller was their boss. One of them from her rear abruptly grabbed Kendra's nose and put a white handkerchief. Though it was useless, Kendra attempted fighting for her life as she passed out. Suddenly, everything turned dark.
