MONARCH (5 members total):
REX (Han Jiwon) – Leader. Lead vocalist. Cold precision. Charismatic. Secretly the last hunter.
ZAYN (Choi Jaemin) – Main choreographer. Jiwon's childhood friend. Loyal. Suspicious by nature.
MIN (Park Minseok) – Lead Dancer. Soft-spoken, spiritual. Sensitive to "energy."
KAI (Yoon Taekyung) – Lead Rapper. Loud, wild, brilliant. Reads too much mythology.
EO (Jung Eojin) – Maknae. Visual. Innocent-looking, but calculating underneath.
Jiwon peeled the stage jacket from his arms, jaw tight.
Zayn tossed him a bottle of water and leaned in close. "You froze," he said under his breath. "During the final drop. Your left foot missed the mark."
Jiwon didn't answer.
Min stood near the vanity, staring at his reflection like he wasn't seeing himself. "Something was wrong. The air changed," he said quietly. "Before SOL started singing."
Kai flopped onto the couch and laughed, but it was too sharp. "Yeah, wrong like a cursed mirror or a B-tier horror drama. That guy gives me the creeps."
EO was checking social media already. "The fans are losing their minds over your chemistry with him, hyung," he said to Jiwon. "They're already shipping REX x SOL. They're calling it SUNFIRE."
Jiwon rolled his eyes. "Creative."
He sat down, towel around his neck, pretending to be calm.
But inside?
His skin was crawling.
Because the mark on his wrist—the one that had been dormant for years—was glowing faintly beneath his sleeve.
And the message from Yul still sat unread on his phone.
"I wrote my verse for you."
🌘 EQUINOX (5 members total):
SOL (Seo Yul) – Leader. Vocal. Demon in disguise. Ethereal and unreadable.
JUNO (Lee Junseo) – Lead dancer. Possessive. Has known Yul since 2019. Protective to a fault.
DARA (Kim Daram) – Rapper. Flirty, sharp, intuitive. She watches everything.
RIEN (Baek Rihan) – Sub-vocalist. Introverted. Writes songs with hidden meanings.
NOX (Shin Haneul) – Maknae. Sweet and chaotic. Sees ghosts. Doesn't realize Yul isn't human.
SOL sat at the edge of the chaise, legs crossed, skin still glowing with post-performance heat. He hadn't even wiped the makeup off yet.
Juno stood with arms crossed, jaw locked. "You pushed too far tonight."
"I did what the music asked of me," Yul said, voice light.
"No," Juno snapped. "You let him see you. I saw it. Everyone else may have been blinded by smoke and lights, but I know you."
Rien looked up from his lyric notebook, pen paused. "He'll come for you now, won't he?"
Yul didn't answer.
Dara sat sideways in a chair, twirling one of her braids around a finger. "If he's what you think he is, maybe you should've killed him before he remembered how."
"Maybe," Yul murmured.
He finally stood, crossing to the mirror. He stared at his own face.
The glamour was still holding—but barely.
The curve of his cheek, the gloss of his eyes, the warmth of his skin.
None of it was real.
"Maybe I don't want to kill him," he said softly.
NOX looked up from his tarot deck. "You're going to fall for him," he said in a singsong voice.
Everyone froze.
Nox blinked. "Did I say something weird again?"
Juno growled. "Shut up, Nox."
Lux Division — Midnight Check-In- 12:00 AM
Jiwon walked alone through the underground corridors of the Lux Seoul Cell. Everything here was dim and humming with old magic.
He passed by the Wall of Names—a sacred vault carved with the names of fallen hunters. His father's name burned brightest.
He stood in front of a monitor, reviewing the demon scan from tonight's stage. Yul's energy signature pulsed in gold and red—a frequency that didn't belong in this realm.
"Level Five," the analyst said beside him.
"Which means?" Jiwon asked.
"That he's not just Sangwi," she said. "He's old Sangwi. He's what the books call Halban—a golden-blood. A myth."
Jiwon stared at the scan.
"He shouldn't exist," she added.
[Yul Flashback – The Last Time He Fell in Love]
Paris 1890.
Yul—wearing another name, another face—stood beneath a chandelier in a masquerade hall, holding a boy with silver eyes against his chest.
"You're not what they say," the boy whispered. "You're not a monster."
Yul smiled then, soft and sad.
"No," he said. "I'm worse. Because I know exactly what I am."
He kissed the boy anyway.
And three nights later, when the hunters came…
The boy died in his arms.
Yul never ran again after that.
Until now.
