Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 : New Function – Entry Granting?

Not long after killing Hanami and secretly taking down Itadori Yuji, he obtained two new purple entries.

"Life Absorption (Purple): Absorbs life force from the surrounding earth, enabling rapid healing of injuries and recovery of stamina and magical energy."

"Sedimented Athlete (Purple): Training effect +300%, significantly increasing the chance of triggering Black Flash in combat."

"Good stuff."

Satoru Mikami's eyes lit up.

Life Absorption was excellent—it could be considered an upgraded version of the Spiritual Healing Bracelet.

But what truly surprised him was the Athlete entry that Itadori had dropped.

A Training effect boost of +300%! This attribute was simply unbeatable.

After storing the Demon Sword Creation in his pocket, Satoru switched to the Athlete entry.

In the next instant, immortal energy surged through his body, and the efficiency of tapping into his potential tripled.

Feeling his strength continuously climb, Satoru, already near a breakthrough, hardened his resolve and put on the weighted gear he had customized days ago.

100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10-kilometer long-distance run.

Rest for one minute, then repeat the second round.

Sweat drenched his clothes as he pushed his body to the limit again and again.

Hours later, a voice he had long anticipated rang out.

"Ding! Host's strength has broken through to Level 3, unlocking a new function: Entry Imbuement!"

Finally, he had leveled up!

Satoru opened his panel to inspect the new function.

"Imbue entries to others; when the target's strength increases, you gain a certain boost."

Hmm… Yhwach Satoru Mikami?

"This doesn't seem very useful."

Opening slots required entries, and upgrading entries required entries.

He didn't even have enough entries for himself—so where would he find entries for others?

"A bit of a chicken-rib function."

Satoru muttered sharply, closed the panel, and pushed the thought aside.

It was time to rest.

After showering and getting into bed, Satoru fell into a deep sleep.

---

At four in the morning, the alarm clock rang.

Satoru opened his eyes, got out of bed, and glanced around the room filled with clutter and mess.

"I really should hire a maid."

After daily high-intensity training, cleaning was the last thing he wanted to do.

In less than half a month, his once tidy doghouse had turned into a pigsty.

After posting a recruitment ad on his phone, Satoru went out for his morning run, burdened with weights.

After running two laps around Kouh Town, he arrived at the Occult Research Club to shower.

When he came out, Rias was already sitting on the club's sofa, leisurely sipping black tea.

"Morning, Rias."

"Good morning, Satoru."

Rias sighed a little. "I thought you would rest today."

"Rest? You don't think that little battle yesterday overworked me, do you?"

"Not at all. I just think you need to rest and reset your mental state."

"..."

Satoru's expression flickered.

He hadn't expected that his sudden inspiration yesterday would leave such a psychological shadow on Rias.

"All right, I won't tease you anymore."

Rias suddenly smiled, stood up, and walked out of the club room.

"Remember to attend class on time. Don't overtrain like you did a few days ago."

"Oh."

Satoru watched her leave with a puzzled expression.

Did she come to the club so early just to drink a cup of black tea and remind him to go to class?

---

Inside the Student Council

"Hm? Why are you here?" Sona, who was processing documents, looked up with a hint of confusion.

Rias sat down on the sofa. "I came to school too early with nothing to do, so I thought I'd visit you."

Normally, she wouldn't come this early.

But after agreeing to Satoru's request a few days ago, she had been teaching him magic.

One hour in the morning, one hour in the evening.

Two lessons a day.

Over time, it had become a habit.

Even though Satoru had already graduated and no longer needed her tutoring, Rias still woke up early out of habit and timed her arrival at school after his morning training.

"By the way, Sona… are you interested in teaching for a few days?"

"A teacher?"

Rias nodded. "I feel like Satoru is overtraining; his brain's turning into muscle."

"If you have the time, I'd like him to learn some strategy and tactics from you—to improve his… wisdom."

Sona glanced at her friend. "Do you have a prejudice against Satoru? I think he's quite smart."

"Just consider it preparation for the future," Rias replied. "He's going to be promoted to a High-Class Devil sooner or later anyway."

"...All right, I'll help you this once."

Sona paused thoughtfully. "I'm usually at the Student Council at noon. If he's free, he can come anytime."

---

On the other side, Satoru still didn't know that Rias had arranged for him a new teacher.

After breakfast, he went to class and sat down.

"Satoru, you were so mean yesterday!"

Itadori Yuji, sitting in front, turned around. "You punched me without warning! It hurt so much!"

"I personally believe that was the optimal solution."

Satoru improvised. "What you ate yesterday was not only poisonous but also cursed."

"If I hadn't knocked you out in time for separation surgery, you'd have been unlucky for the rest of your life."

"I knew that, but that punch really hurt."

Itadori shivered.

Because parts of his memory hadn't been fully erased, Itadori's recollection lingered.

After waking up yesterday, he learned the truth from Gojo Satoru and others through conversation.

But… knowing it was one thing; feeling it was another!

Even though he had healed by now, Itadori trembled when recalling the moment.

Let me reiterate—it hurt so much!

"There's nothing I can do about you."

Facing Itadori's resentful gaze, Satoru replied after a moment's thought.

"Then after school, I'll make time to give you something good as compensation."

"What good thing?"

"Don't rush—I'm still thinking."

"??? You're too insincere!"

Yuji sighed and turned back toward class, shaking his head at Satoru's spaced-out expression.

Meanwhile, Satoru opened his entry inventory and browsed through his stock.

He planned to test the newly unlocked function by giving Itadori an entry and observing the result.

White entries… Pass!

At least Itadori had given him a useful purple entry, so he had to be generous.

His gaze swept over the purple and blue entries, then settled on the green ones.

Since he'd only recently unlocked slots, his stock wasn't abundant.

Including the drops from the Curse Spirits in the last battle, he had a total of four green entries.

"This one's good."

"Swift as the Wind (Green): Quick and powerful, agile steps, movement speed +30%."

Having made his decision, Satoru closed the panel.

At that moment, he noticed someone staring directly at him.

"Kato, is something wrong?" he asked.

Kato Megumi tilted her head curiously.

"Did you fight with Itadori?"

Satoru shook his head. "Not really a fight. He ate something bad, and I helped him throw it up."

"I see."

Kato Megumi nodded silently.

No wonder Yuji wasn't angry, just complaining.

That explained everything.

"Class is starting."

Nagatsuki Minami walked into the classroom, clapped the blackboard, and captured everyone's attention.

"The monthly exam is coming soon. Today I'll go over some key points. Be sure to review them carefully when you go home."

---

Time passed quickly, and soon it was dismissal time.

In the small grove behind the school, Satoru and Yuji found a secluded spot to test the new entry granting…
