Hello everyone.
If you're reading this, then you've just finished Volume One of I Won't Date You! First of all, thank you. Truly. You chose to spend time with this story, with these characters, and with me, and that means more than I can properly explain.
If I'm being honest, this volume took about two years to write. Not all at once. A lot of that time, I didn't have the energy or the space for it. High school was exhausting. Life doesn't always leave room for stories. But little by little, this one found its way out.
And you made it here. You met Kenji, Ichika, Kudo, Ayumi, Nozomi, and the rest.
And now you're probably wondering what's next.
Here's a small spoiler.
The story is only getting started.
I held back a lot in this volume on purpose. I needed the world to breathe first. I needed the characters to grow. But Volume Two is different. There's space now. Things move. Things get personal.
I'll be releasing a small Volume 1.5 later, focused on lighter moments. You'll get to see your favorite characters being a little silly, spending time together, and growing closer.
That's also why there's a time skip on Volume 4. I wanted to move the main story forward without losing momentum.
