Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Before the Life Started

Theme :

"In Search of Peace" is a silent journey of a boy who loved deeply, lost quietly, and longed for peace in a world that never understood his pain. It explores one-sided love, loneliness, fading hope, and the strength it takes to keep breathing when everything feels empty.

He wasn't the kind of boy anyone noticed in a crowd. Average in height, plain in features, dressed in clothes that looked a season too old. But hidden behind his quiet eyes was a storm no one cared to ask about.

He didn't talk much. In fact, at school, people weren't even sure if he spoke at all.

While others filled the halls with laughter and noise, he slipped out quietly after

attendance, not to bunkbut to breathe.

The park behind the school had an old bench under a neem tree. It had become his classroom, his shelter. There, he scribbled words he didn't understand fully, searching for the meaning of his own existence in crooked lines and scattered metaphors.Writing wasn't a hobby. It was survival.

At home, life wasn't poetic. His father had passed when he was twoa shadow he never knew but always felt. His mother worked long hours just to keep the house standing, her face always tired, her words often sharp. They loved him, yes. But they didn't understand him. And in that gap, he grew alone. The house was filled with relatives who measured worth in marks and masculinity, in louder voices and stronger backs. But he was soft. Not weak just soft. He felt everything too deeply and expressed too little.

So, he wrote.

Notebooks filled with questions.

Why do people leave?

Why are people cruel?

What does peace mean?

How do I live without being exhausted by my own thoughts?

He wasn't extraordinary.

He didn't save the world.

He just survived his.

Each day he fought the invisible war inside him and came back with a little more understanding, a little more silence. He was learning that life doesn't need to be loud to be meaningful. He was growing up in silence maturing, evolving but still unsure where the path would lead.

But that was before she came. Before her presence quietly sat beside his pain like warm sunlight through a broken window.

Before her voice softened the noise in his head. He didn't know her name that day.

He just saw a girl standing quietly, her eyes curious, her presence calm.

And without speaking a word…

she began to change his story.
