BANG——!
Golden light flashed as brain matter exploded outward, a shrill, agonizing scream echoing across the heavens.
A psychic shockwave erupted—pain and humiliation twisted together, reverberating through the minds of every Rangdan warrior. They felt an endless agony, alongside a profound sense of powerlessness against reality.
The battle, broadcast in full feed across all channels, looked like a one-sided slaughter.
Every front across Sector J-11 ground to a halt at this precise moment as the psychic shockwave rippled out across the entire star system.
"AHHH!!!"
An agonizing scream tore from the cockpit as the Apostle of Extinction's crimson eyes opened wide, its pupils dilating and collapsing from the extreme pain. It could no longer feel half of its mind; its right brain squirmed in empty ruin, the filthy brain tissue twitching as its neural tentacles beat about in wild disarray.
When the gunshot had detonated, a terrifying force had saturated its very soul, utterly destroying half of its brain from the physical realm straight through to its spiritual consciousness.
Now it felt terror. Now it felt pain. It wailed like a helpless child.
The Apostle of Extinction could not comprehend why its psychic powers had failed to produce any effect. Its terrified eyes locked onto Nowick—as if the creature before it were not human at all, but the living incarnation of cruelty and devastation!
Yes—from the Slayer, the Apostle of Extinction felt true humiliation. It was a form of mockery: a futile struggle where the prey was denied both the chance to survive and the mercy of death.
Seeing that massive hand reach out once more, its body recoiled in sheer terror, pressing hard against the rear wall of the cockpit.
"NO——"
Whether to beg for mercy or utter a final curse, the Apostle of Extinction could no longer speak. Blazkowicz's massive hand clamped down over its horrified face, sealing its hideous mouth shut as five fingers dug forcefully into its flesh.
With a sudden burst of violent strength in his arm, he dragged the Rangdan Overlord right out of its cockpit!
Snap~ Snap~ Snap~
Neural relays snapped one after another, unable to retain the pilot being torn from the machine.
Blazkowicz spun on his heel instantly. With a mighty throw, he hurled the mangled form straight at the charging Lord of Nullity.
Weaving a net of psychic force, the Lord of Nullity was forced to abandon its attack, catching its flying peer in midair.
The Apostle of Extinction gasped as the world spun around it in a blur, unable to think until its body was caught by the psychic field and set onto the ground to catch its breath. Half of its body was mangled, blood pouring continuously from the wound in its skull as its mind dissolved into chaos.
"You commit a high crime!" A roar failed to conceal the rage within as the Void Attendant charged into the fray.
Psychic weight pressed down like a black curtain enveloping Blazkowicz, seeking to force him to his knees to confess his sins. The Void Attendant could not tolerate a noble Rangdan Overlord being so grievously wounded by a human, left at death's door with its consciousness shattered.
Such a pathetic display did not belong to the Rangdan—the humans would pay for this transgression with their lives!
Hummm! The ground sank inward as if the crushing mass of an entire planet were bearing down directly upon Blazkowicz.
The Void Attendant attacked in a fury, holding back nothing as it poured every ounce of its power into crushing the human Primarch. It wanted the man before it dead!
RUMBLE—
At that moment, another crushing weight descended. The Lord of Nullity also launched a ferocious attack, unleashing its psychic power without restraint to crush the Slayer into oblivion!
"Gravity disruptor active," the Void Dragon reported from within the Archon's armor.
Waves pulsed from his warboots. Blazkowicz remained standing, even as the terrain around him sank continuously under the immense gravitational force altering the very geological structure.
He raised his head within the gravitational curtain, his eyes locking onto the Rangdan Overlords.
Crack~ Crack~
The crisp sound of popping bone echoed out. Under the incredulous gazes of the Rangdan Overlords, Blazkowicz cracked his neck from side to side, completely unaffected by the immense pressure.
One step——two steps——
Terrified eyes could not believe what they were seeing: someone standing under such crushing gravity, even walking forward normally.
"I WANT YOU DEAD!!!"
Having lost all reason in a frenzied screech, the Apostle of Extinction regained a fragment of composure and unleashed its psychic power once more.
The three Rangdan Overlords joined forces, their psychic energies merging together—how vast was the power generated by such a union? It was a force capable of dragging an entire world off its axis!
Blazkowicz's shoulders dipped slightly and his steps grew heavier, appearing as though he might finally yield under the combined weight of the xenos leaders.
Yet his stride never ceased. Under trillion-fold pressure, he straightened his spine once more, rolled his shoulders, and twirled the Judgment Sword in a fluid arc.
His eyes locked onto his next target—the Void Attendant.
Stepping out from behind their stunned, incredulous expressions, he broke into a full-strided sprint straight toward his quarry.
"This is impossible!" Panic seized the Void Attendant as its biological war-suit backed away, shouting in disbelief: "What kind of monster are you?!"
Blazkowicz said nothing, his legs driving forward with tremendous power that shook everything around him.
Though pulling forces battered his body continuously, they failed to slow him down. His objective was crystal clear: if he were cast into a mire, his infinite strength would carry the entire mire forward with him!
The Void Attendant's soul trembled as it stared at Blazkowicz charging closer, time seeming to stretch out infinitely. It could discern every subtle movement of the enemy with absolute clarity.
Yet it dared not flee, remaining frozen as it maintained its psychic output. The moment its concentration lapsed and the pressure eased, the human Primarch would close the distance at hyper-speed and tear it to shreds!
"I shall grant him his end."
The Apostle of Extinction suspended itself in the air once more, sweeping up a plasma blade in grief and fury as it charged straight toward Blazkowicz. Mindful of its impending death, it sought to take the great enemy of its species down with it.
The charge was fearless and swift, the blade aimed directly at Blazkowicz's throat for a instant kill.
Frenzied screams echoed in his ears as a broken body approached with absolute resolve, the searing plasma blade inches away.
Blazkowicz remained expressionless, the Judgment Sword held firm in his grip: "Unleash its oblivion."
Beneath the gravitational curtain, he swung the cursed blade upward, the crimson edge carving a perfect crescent moon through the air.
The plasma blade snapped and fell to the earth; the light in the Apostle of Extinction's eyes dimmed as its body was cleaved in two——
Where the Judgment Sword passed, a fine line appeared between its eyes, and the two halves of its body split apart as its soul was thoroughly annihilated.
A Rangdan Overlord that had eradicated countless species perished before the eyes of the entire sector.
Yet it would still be remembered by all things—for the god-slaying demon had unleashed oblivion, allowing a wretched death to exist in the mortal realm.
In just five seconds, a Rangdan Overlord had been slain on the spot.
Before there was even time to mourn the Apostle of Extinction's death, Blazkowicz's silhouette vanished from beneath the gravitational curtain.
Motors roared into life. The Void Attendant staggered backward as the hyper-spinning serrated teeth tore through bio-synthetic flesh, bursting open the cockpit.
Blazkowicz threw the round shield-saw, slamming it violently into the bio-power armor.
Mangled flesh sprayed across his frame as sparks flew from the spinning teeth. The Void Attendant controlled its bionic arm, grabbing the saw blade right in front of its face. It cared nothing for the destruction of its power armor—it wanted only to get away from the danger.
The shield-saw was thrown clear, landing at the edge of the battlefield, yet lethal intent remained right in front of it!
The Void Attendant's momentary distraction had eased the crushing gravity, allowing Blazkowicz to charge straight before it.
In the fraction of a second as the longsword thrust forward, the Void Attendant decisively jettisoned its cockpit armor, stripping itself of the lumbering shell to escape.
SCREECH~
A grating sound rang out. Blazkowicz dropped his left arm as the retractable blade sliced through the flying cockpit plate.
Driving his arm forward with the momentum, he ran through the xenos before it could register what had happened.
The retractable blade sank deep between the Void Attendant's brows, followed by an armored fist slamming into its forehead. It felt a chilling cold invade its mind as the blade annihilated its will, freezing its soul and absorbing its essence piece by piece.
The faint hum of a motor engaged as the Void Attendant saw the shoulder-cannon lock directly onto its face.
"Die, filthy creation of the Immaterium!"
The Void Dragon bellowed in satisfaction, operating the shoulder-cannon to unleash a death ray.
Dead-grey energy slammed into the massive brain, concept of death annihilating the physical frame as the Void Attendant dissolved into ash amidst absolute despair.
Blazkowicz leapt down from the biological power armor, tilting his head to dodge a stream of incoming plasma fluid before turning to face the Lord of Nullity.
The latter instinctively retreated a few steps, trembling beneath that utterly impassive gaze.
The Lord of Nullity dropped its plasma rifle, unsealed its cockpit, and abandoned the protection of its bio-power armor. Through this brief engagement, it had realized that the lumbering power armor offered no real safety. On the contrary, it was a cage that sealed off any slim chance of survival.
The psychic pressure was withdrawn as well—such efforts were meaningless, incapable of halting the man before it.
Scanning back and forth, the Lord of Nullity observed Blazkowicz Nowick intently. He was different from the other Primarchs. A powerful, immortal body paired with an absolute, unwavering will made for a terrifying weapon.
His strength was universally recognized; even the Supreme Overlord had issued a stern warning to handle him with extreme caution.
Yet all precautions proved futile. No matter how cautious they had been, in less than ten seconds, two of its peers lay dead on the spot.
As if accepting that its destiny was at an end, the Lord of Nullity looked up at the surging darkness around them.
The elite warriors charged in grief and fury, yet they could not breach the iron defenses of the Astartes—numbers had lost all meaning. The Space Marine Legions stood immovable, an impenetrable wall blocking the way.
When its gaze returned to the warped terrain, the invincible warrior was already walking toward it.
"You are a being beyond imagination," the Lord of Nullity sighed, its voice surprisingly serene as it faced its own death with composure: "The mortal realm will sing of your greatness, worshipping you as a god."
Blazkowicz stopped in his tracks, looking up at the xenos leader standing above. He hurled the Judgment Sword with absolute force—a crimson meteor flashed and vanished in an instant, running straight through the Rangdan Overlord's brow, tearing through realspace to return to the Immaterium.
"There are no gods in this world."
