Chapter 112 - Chapter 112 Banner: WTF?

"Dr. Banner, hello."

A young male voice came from the phone, which surprised Banner. He had thought Swift Wind Swordsman, like Tony Stark, was a middle-aged man. Moreover, the other party directly revealed his identity, even though he had called from a stranger's phone.

"Um… hello, is this Mr. Swift Wind Swordsman?" Banner asked tentatively, of course, keeping his voice low to avoid other passersby, including the person whose phone he borrowed.

"Yes, Dr. Banner, have you made up your mind?"

"Made up my mind? Um… pretty much. I've run into some trouble here and need your help." The 'made up my mind' the other party referred to was likely the invitation from last time. Banner calling now was pretty much accepting the invitation, and the other party said he would resolve the pursuit against him. If what he said could truly be realized, it would indeed be a blessing for Banner, as he had long grown weary of this nomadic life.

"Understood. I'm clear on the specifics. Just tell me where you are now."

"watt? I haven't said anything yet? Are you sure you don't need to hear it?" Banner was somewhat speechless. He hadn't said anything, and the other party claimed to know everything, which made Banner feel a bit uneasy.

"No need. Isn't it just that someone created some mutated creatures to hunt you down? That's already in the news. Just tell me your current location."

In the news? What's in the news? Are reporters and TV stations that good now? They know about this kind of thing?

"OK, I'm currently on XX Street in XX City."

Noah had already had Lissandra pinpoint Banner's location the moment his call came in. Now he planned to open a Teleportation Gate to him, but the Teleportation Gate spell requires knowing the exact location to open a gate there, so Noah needed Lissandra's help now.

"Lissandra, can you hack into their satellites? Then find Banner's exact location." Noah clicked the mute button and asked.

"Of course, Noah, just a moment." Lissandra's voice came through.

With Lissandra's technology, most of the World's tech was child's play to her. Within a few seconds, a satellite image appeared before Noah, showing Banner's exact location.

"OK, Banner, go into the small alley next to you now. You can return the phone to that passerby." Noah turned off the mute and said to Banner.

Banner glanced at his phone, then began looking around. He started to suspect that this Swift Wind Swordsman was watching him from nearby, as if he knew everything. However, he didn't see the figure in the battle suit, but he did see the small alley the other party mentioned.

"OK, so I'm hanging up?" Banner finished, and seeing no reply from the other party, he directly hung up the phone, then thanked the nearby passerby and returned his phone.

While heading to the alley, Banner heard the people around him discussing last night's events. Although they were speaking Spanish, Banner had spent years wandering various countries and had picked up some of the language. He expected to hear topics like 'green monster,' but he didn't. They were only discussing a Terrorist attack that happened in that area yesterday, and they didn't know who exactly did it, only guessing it was some anti-social Terrorists.

'Didn't Swift Wind Swordsman say it was reported in the news? This isn't what I expected?' Banner arrived at the alley with doubts, then his eyes widened in shock.

Because inside the alley, a figure in a black battle suit was leaning against the wall. Banner, of course, knew who he was—the Swift Wind Swordsman he had just spoken with. But he had just been on the phone with him, so how could he have arrived here so quickly? Had he anticipated that Banner would seek his help and arrived early?

Banner thought many things in an instant, such as whether the other party was the mastermind behind a plot against him. Noah saw the other party's expression was very 'colorful' and constantly changing, knowing that he might have misunderstood, so he directly called out to Banner, who was standing motionless at the alley entrance:

"Dr. Banner, don't just stand there like an idiot, it's time to go." Noah didn't say much more, simply waved his hand in a few circles, and a blue Teleportation Gate slowly unfolded on the alley wall.

"WTF?!" What he saw made the usually civilized Banner blurt out a curse.

He had just been suspecting the other party was the mastermind of this incident, and then the other party pulled off something big right in front of him.

"What, what is this?" Banner took two steps forward, wanting to see what this glowing circle was. Inside the circle, he seemed to see a… living room?

"A Teleportation Gate, can't you tell? Do you think it's a 3D projection? Come on." Noah finished speaking, and under Banner's gaze, he stepped directly into the blue glowing circle.

"OMG, I hope I'm dreaming." He didn't know if this was magic or spatial technology for Teleport. Banner muttered, cautiously walking to the blue glowing circle, and the Swift Wind Swordsman, who had just entered, was watching him from inside.

"Don't touch it, you might lose your hand."

Banner pulled back his hand, which had been reaching to touch the blue glowing circle, then stepped inside. The other side of the circle was a living room. Banner looked at the surroundings in a daze, then looked out the window.

The street was filled with pedestrians and vehicles, and numerous English-printed billboards lined the streets. These sights made him unable to resist asking:

"Where is this?"

"New York."

Banner took a deep breath, calming his agitated mood caused by the shock. He would turn into Hulk if he got too agitated.

"Is this spatial technology? You've already mastered this kind of tech? To go from Mexico to New York in an instant." Banner turned around, looking at the slowly disappearing blue Teleportation Gate in the living room, then looked at Noah.

Noah took a few steps and lay directly on the sofa. He was wearing his battle suit, which caused the sofa to sink quite a bit. This was his old home in Manhattan. He had opened the Teleportation Gate here. Although Noah no longer lived here, the living room was not dirty at all, because every few days he would return to replenish the duration of the Eye he had placed in the living room, and then conveniently use magic to clean the living room. It was very convenient, and he could also practice his control over magic.

"This is magic."

"What? Are you kidding me?" Banner asked, hearing this. You're wearing a battle suit that surpasses the World's technological level, and you're telling me about something as fantastical as magic?

"This must be a utilization of spatial technology, I really didn't expect you to be able to achieve this level, you… Oh! Oh! Wait!"

Before Banner could finish speaking, he was directly lifted by a force and suspended in mid-air. He flailed his limbs in the air somewhat frantically, trying to maintain his balance. In his struggle, he saw faint blue light emanating from Noah, who was sitting on the sofa.

"OK, I believe you, magic, it's magic, right." Banner shouted loudly. If he still had his heart rate monitor on, he would have seen his heart rate soaring.

Noah smiled, gently lowering the other party with magic. He could already feel a violent power slowly awakening within the other party's body.
