Inside the Director's office at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters, Director Fury was holding a tablet, his fingers constantly swiping as he viewed some important information.
Based on the changing expressions on Director Fury's face, which finally settled into a satisfied smile, it was clear that this was good news.
"Knock knock~" "Click~"
While Director Fury was holding the tablet, the closed office door suddenly opened.
The person who entered had only knocked once before pushing open the closed wooden door.
The one who pushed the door open was Agent Coulson; his series of actions seemed a bit hurried, as if something important had happened.
"Coulson? You've come at a good time; I just received a notification here that should be good news for you." Director Fury looked up and saw that the person rushing into his office was Agent Coulson; he also had something to tell Agent Coulson.
After entering, Agent Coulson closed the door behind him, then looked at Director Fury.
"Director, I also have something to tell you," Agent Coulson said, holding a tablet as he approached Director Fury's desk.
Director Fury looked at Agent Coulson; he knew something important must have happened, otherwise Agent Coulson wouldn't have been so hurried.
Director Fury first put down what he was holding, intending to let Agent Coulson speak first.
"Oh? Then you go ahead and tell me what you have to say," Director Fury said.
Agent Coulson swiped the screen on his tablet to bring up the information, then handed the tablet to Director Fury.
Director Fury took it and looked at the screen.
"Director, on the day the Abomination incident occurred, Dr. Bruce Banner, code-named 'Hulk,' was captured by General Ross and taken to a Military Base.
Since then, our people have been unable to observe Dr. Banner."
"However, not long ago, a riot occurred at the Military Base where General Ross is located.
Our people observed a green figure rampaging through the Military Base before escaping the Base and disappearing without a trace."
Director Fury listened to Agent Coulson's narration while scrolling through the screen, observing the information sent by their S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents monitoring General Ross's Base.
The Agents had captured what happened at the time; Director Fury saw a green monster wreaking havoc inside the Military Base, then soaring into the sky and disappearing after a few leaps.
"General Ross failed again; the Hulk should never fall into General Ross's hands again," Director Fury said with a smile.
After General Ross captured the Hulk, Director Fury knew this day wouldn't be long in coming.
He knew the monster's strength, and with General Ross's Military might, he simply couldn't contain a monster of that level.
"Send more personnel.
Even if we can't control a dangerous existence like the Hulk right now, we need to know his whereabouts." Putting down the tablet, Director Fury rested his chin on his hands and said to Agent Coulson.
"Understood, Director." Agent Coulson replied.
"Oh, right, Agent Coulson, I have some good news to tell you."
Good news?
Agent Coulson was momentarily confused when he heard Director Fury's words.
What good news?
Is the Director going to give me a raise?
Other than that, Agent Coulson couldn't think of any better news.
"Director, what good news?"
"The good news is that I'm sending you on an important mission to bring home a World War II veteran who has been in slumber for 70 years," Director Fury said.
"What?! Are you saying?!" Agent Coulson became a bit uncomposed after hearing what Director Fury said.
A 70-year-old World War II veteran, plus what the Director had mentioned earlier about hearing from Noah that Captain America was still alive, Agent Coulson knew exactly who Director Fury was referring to.
"Director, you really found him?" Agent Coulson was a bit excited.
You see, Captain America was his idol.
Agent Coulson had loved Captain America since he was a child, even collecting his merchandise, with many Captain America posters on his walls at home.
He even carried a limited edition Captain America card with him at all times.
If he could meet Captain America in person, he wanted the Captain to sign his card.
"Yes, just now, the search party I sent near Alaska sent information that they have found Captain America, frozen beneath the ice.
Now I'm sending you to bring him back and then proceed to rescue him from the ice," Director Fury said, then pulled open a drawer, took out several paper documents, and handed them to Agent Coulson.
"No problem, Director, I guarantee the mission will be completed." Agent Coulson took the documents and excitedly turned to leave.
Next, he would personally rescue his idol; how could he not be excited?
Director Fury saw Agent Coulson's eagerness, shook his head helplessly, then, while looking at the documents in his hand, pondered how to deal with the Hulk situation.

"So, Banner has escaped?" Noah said, holding a bowl.
It was already evening, and Noah had emerged from the void.
As soon as he came out, he went straight back to the Villa, because Lissandra had already prepared dinner.
Lissandra also told Noah about the Hulk rampaging through the Military Base and then escaping the scene.
Noah had actually anticipated this matter; he concluded that Banner would certainly not tolerate life confined in a Military Base.
His father-in-law, General Ross, wanting to develop controllable super soldiers, would definitely conduct some human experiments on Banner.
Banner might endure it, but could the Hulk endure such indignity?
Things indeed went as Noah expected; the Hulk reappeared and escaped the Military Base, but whether Banner would call him was something Noah didn't know.
However, since Banner had escaped, he should remember what Noah had told him; if he couldn't stand that kind of fugitive life, he should consider what Noah had said to him.
"Then I should also prepare myself."
Since Banner had escaped, Noah also needed to prepare some things in advance, such as establishing his own company.
His research Base also needed to be prepared; the area he was currently in was almost no longer sufficient for Noah's research needs.
Noah had already started preparing for some large-scale research projects, such as Hextech mechanical beasts.
As for funding, Noah no longer intended to sell Vibranium for money.
His Vibranium, when calculated, wasn't actually much; ten thousand tons would be gone very quickly and could no longer be sold to others.
The S.H.I.E.L.D. incident was when Noah hadn't started building his laboratory yet, so he had some incorrect perceptions about the demand for Vibranium.
(My fault)
As for money, having Lissandra was enough.
The internet was Lissandra's domain, and finance was merely a plaything in Lissandra's hands.
'Money' on the internet was just a number, and Lissandra could freely adjust the size of this number.
This meant that as long as Lissandra was willing, Lissandra could become the World's richest person at any time (why didn't she do this from the beginning? Let's just consider it a bug, hehe).
However, she couldn't be too reckless, or someone would eventually discover something amiss.
"Lissandra, I'll leave this matter to you," Noah said, as he didn't understand much about these kinds of things and could only leave them to Lissandra to handle.
"No problem, Noah."

In a desolate, deep mountain forest, a man wearing only shorts climbed out of a deep pit, looking bewildered at his surroundings.
Then, feeling the cold wind, he hugged himself tightly and then picked a direction to move forward.
This half-naked man was Banner, who had reverted to his human form.
He was already familiar with this situation: left with only a pair of shorts, then waking up in an unfamiliar place.
This kind of thing happened often after he became the Hulk due to that accident.
Banner, relying on his experience, found a place to rest, then found dry tinder and made a simple fire-starting device to light a Fire.
After all, he was a genius with seven Dr. degrees; these small matters couldn't stump him.
The flames of the bonfire danced, and the firelight reflected on Banner's face.
He squatted on the ground, pondering his future path.
This time, he had once again escaped the Military's pursuit with the help of the Hulk, but Banner knew that General Ross would not give up.
The next pursuit would likely come very soon, and he would again be plunged into that endless journey of escape.
As the bonfire flickered, Banner suddenly remembered the words spoken by the person in the high-tech battle armor that day, and a light flickered in his eyes.
"Perhaps, I really can get rid of General Ross's pursuit…"
