"I want to play this!"
After getting his ordered drink, Noah decided to put aside those troublesome matters for now. It was useless for him to keep thinking about them here, as things wouldn't suddenly resolve themselves. It wouldn't be too late to consider them after he returned.
After leaving the drink shop, the three of them passed through the dense crowd of tourists and headed to the more popular amusement rides. Along the way, they were inevitably stared at by others with various strange looks. Some even thought they were celebrities and wanted to take photos, which Noah, of course, politely declined.
Then, after walking to the high-thrill ride area of the amusement park, Gwen suddenly pointed to the opposite side and said.
"Hmm? You want to play this?"
Noah, walking between the two, heard Gwen's voice next to him and looked in the direction she was pointing. Winding, undulating iron tracks stood tall, like a soaring iron dragon circling in the air. Noah saw that the steepest slope of these tracks was almost a right angle. He could clearly see the distorted expressions of those riding the roller coaster, and a few even fainted.
"You want to play this first?" Noah turned his head and asked. He had intended to start with low-difficulty rides and work his way up to high-difficulty ones, but he didn't expect Gwen to jump straight to a high-thrill roller coaster.
"Mm-hmm, it looks like a lot of fun." Gwen's eyes lit up.
"Then let's go." Since Gwen wanted to play it so much, Noah had no objections.
Upon arriving at the roller coaster's starting point, Noah couldn't help but sigh as he watched tourists with weak legs and nausea after getting off the ride. The pursuit of thrills is indeed an inherent human nature; people ride this roller coaster even though they are afraid. Noah felt that he wouldn't be like that, after all, his battle armor was much more thrilling than this thing.
"Ah~ hahaha~"
As the roller coaster approached the nearly vertical track, a blonde woman next to Noah had already fainted. This roller coaster had four seats; Gwen and Lissandra sat to Noah's right, while a blonde woman was to Noah's left.
As the roller coaster plunged, Gwen also screamed excitedly. Noah felt that she wasn't scared but simply found it fun. Lissandra, on the other hand, maintained a smiling expression throughout. Noah himself hadn't felt anything initially, but influenced by Gwen, he also started to find it interesting.
The Sun gradually set. After an afternoon of fun, the three decided to end their amusement park trip with the Ferris wheel, a must-do attraction. As the cabin Noah and the others were in reached the highest point, they also saw a beautiful scene.
The sea at dusk seemed to be draped in a golden halo. At the end of the sea, a sunset, red like a transparent, enormous golden orange, sank into the horizon.
"Hmm, it's beautiful." Gwen leaned against the window, gazing at the sunset.
'It's quite beautiful.' Noah had never seen such a scene in Reality. After a moment of daze, he suddenly thought of something.
"Lissandra, let's take a picture." Noah suddenly remembered his grand plan of collecting photos.
Noah liked to photograph interesting things whenever he encountered them. For example, when he went to Asgard before, he actually took many photos. He certainly wouldn't miss an interesting place like Asgard, but he forgot about it when he entered the Void last time, as his attention was focused on the Void at that time.
"No problem." Lissandra waved her hand, and a camera made of nano-machines appeared in the cabin, suspended above the three of them.
"Click~" The three of them, at that moment under the sunset, were forever immortalized in the photo.
-----Separation line cut by Gwen ✀----
"Sigh, let's first carefully consider how to deal with the Celestials."
After their amusement park trip, Noah and the others returned home. Gwen was still reminiscing about the day's fun with Lissandra, and discussing places they wanted to visit in the future, while Noah had long since gone to the laboratory downstairs to ponder his future plans.
He had originally thought that after the plot involving Thor and Hulk, he would have some free time, as the closest major event, the 'Battle of New York,' was still about a year away. Moreover, this time Loki didn't fall into the wormhole; instead, he was knocked out by Noah and imprisoned. It was unknown whether the 'Battle of New York' would even happen.
However, the leisurely days didn't arrive; instead, many troublesome matters followed one after another. First the Void, then the Celestials. These two troublesome matters immediately gave Noah a headache. Fortunately, neither of these two matters was particularly urgent or would happen immediately, which gave Noah time to prepare.
"There's no need to rush with the Void matter; I need to deal with the Celestials and the Eternal first." Noah clicked open a virtual screen, trying to search for the locations where the Eternal were distributed.
Hundreds of years ago, the Eternal, believing they had defeated the Deviants, lost their purpose and could only wait on Earth for the Celestials to issue commands. However, the Celestial seed had not yet reached the time for the Emergence, so the Celestials naturally wouldn't give them commands.
During the waiting period, some members of the Eternal developed conflicts, causing all Eternal to begin living separately. What Noah needed to do now was to try and find them. Noah could narrow down the search based on the movie's plot.
Sersi and Sprite, Noah had already seen them in New York. He found this strange, as in the movie's plot, these two lived in London, England, and Sersi even worked as a teacher there. Noah thought that perhaps they moved to England later because there was too much unrest in America.
Phastos, a Black man, lived in modern society, but Noah remembered that his house had been transformed by his high-tech, making him relatively difficult to find.
As for Kingo, he was the easiest to find, as he was currently a star in Bollywood, India; a quick search online would reveal his whereabouts.
Noah had no other good ways to find the remaining people. Gilgamesh and Tina, the Valkyrie, had gone into seclusion because Tina suffered from Mahd Wy'ry. Ikaris and Ajak were also missing, but Noah felt that their residences wouldn't be too far apart. Druig was in some primeval forest, manipulating primitive people, and Makkari, the speedster, had always lived in the Eternal's spaceship.
"So, currently, there are only three Eternal whose locations are clearly known?" Noah rubbed his brow. If he decided to look for this group of people later, starting with these three known individuals, he wondered if they could notify the other members of their race. Noah thought it should be possible, as the Eternal should have other special ways of contacting each other.
"Still, I can't rush. Solving the new Celestial is relatively simple; the troublesome part is the subsequent events."
Noah was confident he could complete what the task description entailed. He only needed to deal with Ikaris, and perhaps his fangirl Sprite, and then he could replicate the movie's plot, allowing Sersi to petrify the Celestial's body.
The other members of the race, upon learning the truth, also disagreed with Earth's destruction, and the newborn Celestial also seemed unwilling to destroy Earth and voluntarily delayed the Day of Emergence. Otherwise, Sersi wouldn't have been able to petrify it so easily, after all, the opponent was a Celestial, and even if it had just been born, its strength had reached the pinnacle of the Universe.
So, completing the task was simple; the difficult part was dealing with the six-eyed Celestial, Arishem the Judge. He was a heavyweight character among the Celestials. True to his title, he was responsible for judgment. He would execute judgment on a Planet or a race. If it passed his judgment, then there would be no problems at all. If it didn't pass, then it was doomed.
Arishem the Judge
And since he had prevented the Emergence, the outcome would certainly not be good. So Noah thought that even after reaching an agreement with the Eternal, he should only carry out this task at the last moment, as he might have the strength to deal with that six-eyed Celestial in a year?
"Sigh, I'll go find Ancient One tomorrow. I can ask her about these matters." Putting away the projection, Noah lay back in the recliner. He planned to go to the New York Sanctum tomorrow, and coincidentally meet Ancient One. This time, he had many things to ask her: the Void, the Eternal, the Celestials. Ancient One should know a lot.
