The glow of the morning sun shined over the snow atop San Antonio Hill, illuminating the master bedroom of Taylor Manor on Mount Ville.
A gentle warm breeze from the Pacific Ocean stirred white sand curtains, revealing the jade body lying on the massive, soft bed that stretched 3 meters wide.
On the sculpted chest of Ryan Lee (previously Ryan), a snow-white jade arm rested, and a round jade leg lay over his defined abs.
The ringing of a phone pulled him from his slumber, and Ryan slowly opened his eyes.
Turning off the phone alarm, Ryan turned his head to look to his side.
Mildew, still sleeping, had a soft rosiness on her cheeks, a hint of satisfaction at the corners of her lips.
She was a vision of beauty, her radiant face glowing in the morning light.
After waking her up with a soft touch, Ryan said, "The morning light should never go to waste!"
The musty yet alluring woman stirred and gave him a beaming smile.
"I have a gift for you, my love!" she said, her eyes shining.
She handed him a wooden box, 40 cm long, 30 cm wide, and 8 cm thick, with both hands.
"Thank you, my dear!"
Ryan kissed her cheek before opening the box. Inside were two TTI Viper pistols!
"These guns were featured in John Wick 4," Ryan said, his eyes wide with excitement. "A high-end piece, priced at $8,000 each!"
"Wow, and the regular Glock 17 is only $600," he added, admiring the quality of the pistols.
The introduction in the movie read: "9mm caliber, 21-round magazine, muzzle compensator to reduce jump, fiber optic sights for dark conditions, smart safes, and 2-pound triggers."
Ryan's heart raced. As a patrol officer in Los Angeles, guns like these were invaluable, especially in a city where police officers were constantly at risk.
"My dear, I love your gift. Thank you!"
He smiled warmly at Mildew, who had saved his life just days before.
Ryan had recently become a patrol officer at the Hollywood District Bureau of the Los Angeles Police Department, and on his very first day, he had single-handedly taken down five armed kidnappers, saving Mildew, a famous singer and his savior.
She had promised him her life in gratitude for his bravery, and now, she had gifted him these pistols.
Ryan stood tall and handsome at 1.9 meters, a pure-blood Chinese man with an undeniable exotic charm that made him the perfect hero in Mildew's eyes.
Their relationship deepened after that fateful day when Ryan had saved her, and she couldn't stop falling for him.
He had now come to terms with his new life in this parallel world, where he was Ryan Lee, a police officer and a man on a mission. He had left behind the world he knew, but in this new world, he would forge his own path.
"Being a police officer and upholding justice is my ideal," Ryan said with pride.
He kissed Mildew again before leaving for work, choosing his reliable Ford F150 Raptor over the flashier supercars like Ferraris and Lamborghinis. He loved the space and comfort it offered, perfect for the life he now had with Mildew.
