Chapter 57 - 57

Harvey did not show obvious resistance to Lacey's proactive approach.

He simply went with the flow, letting Lacey explain some of the explicit and implicit rules of Bounty Hunter.

His strength was great, but not so great that he could completely ignore all rules, so he still had to abide by what needed to be followed.

With Lacey's help, Harvey successfully registered an account and entered the Bounty website.

It included his resume, his appearance, the missions he had completed, and his Bounty Hunter rank, which directly became level two.

Incidentally, Lacey also proactively helped Harvey download and register an account for 'Shadow,' the Bounty Hunter's dedicated intelligence network.

"This allows you to directly search for more information related to bounty missions, so you can make more thorough preparations."

"However, to get the latest intelligence on a mission, you need to pay extra to view it. The intelligence for most missions usually has very high accuracy."

"But if it's information about Star Raiders and Bounty Hunter, 100% accuracy cannot be guaranteed."

"It can only provide information like frequently visited Planets, what abilities they possess, and so on."

"Star Raiders and Bounty Hunter often have many enemies, so they generally don't stay in one place for too long."

"Only a very small number of powerful Star Raiders and Bounty Hunter dare to stay on the same Planet year-round, unafraid of enemy retaliation."

After Lacey finished helping him register, she explained the function of Shadow.

"Being able to get more information is enough."

"Ms. Lacey, can you tell me, besides the Xandarian, Kree, and Sovereign people, who else in the Universe should absolutely not be offended?"

Harvey didn't mind the question and asked for more details.

Lacey considered the question for a moment, then continued to explain.

"Hmm~ If we exclude those three races, there aren't many who can be considered absolutely unoffendable in the Universe."

"That would definitely be the Gods of Asgard and Olympus. Regardless of whether you've heard of them before, as long as you're in the Bounty Hunter business, you'll hear the names of Odin and Zeus."

"Their strength and status can be called divine; they rule over multiple Worlds."

"However, they generally only stay in their own Worlds and are not that easy to encounter in the Universe, so you don't need to worry too much about offending them."

"And then there are Grandmaster of Sakaar and The Collector of Land of Nihility."

"Grandmaster and The Collector are brothers. Both of them are monsters who have lived for countless eons."

"Through their long lives, they have accumulated terrifying wealth that people like us can't even imagine, and countless people work for them."

"They are also the ones who post the most bounty rewards. Offending them means offending all Bounty Hunter."

"Once a bounty is posted, countless peers will go to besiege and capture."

"Grandmaster and The Collector also live in seclusion and are generally not encountered."

"Compared to them, what you need to pay most attention to is Thanos, who is powerful and has recently caused disturbances in various parts of the Universe."

"You can learn more about his information in detail later. When you receive any news, just avoid them and don't get into direct conflict."

These were actually common knowledge in the Universe. Once Kassadin had spent enough time in the Universe, he would naturally learn them, so Lacey had no need to hide anything.

Kassadin was able to complete the Desert Disaster mission, a mission that even a fleet of well-equipped ships had failed to complete, yet Kassadin did it.

Although she didn't know how he did it, in Lacey's eyes, Kassadin's strength was definitely very high.

But the figures she mentioned all had vast influence, and even if Kassadin was strong alone, two fists are no match for four hands.

However, for a powerhouse like Kassadin, who could immediately undertake a mission equivalent to a Level 3 bounty, as long as he avoided these few absolutely unoffendable people, he could live a very free and easy life in the Universe.

Harvey heard these familiar names and understood. He glanced at the price of the most expensive drink above the bar, which was three thousand per glass.

He touched Lacey's arm with his right hand, and a projection appeared.

Harvey casually tapped a few times, brought up the transfer interface, entered 100,000, and clicked confirm.

"Ms. Lacey, your information is very useful to me. This 100,000 is for me to treat you to a drink."

"I think we'll meet again in the future."

"But it's getting late now, and I still need to find a place to stay, so I'll be leaving first."

Harvey stood up, his words filled with some gratitude.

Because she knew Kassadin was a strong person, Lacey didn't dare to cheat Kassadin. Instead, she chose a softer approach, hoping to build a friendly relationship with him.

She didn't expect Kassadin to give her 100,000 right away. Her basic salary working here was only 8,000 a month.

To earn more, she relied on commissions and using her looks to sell her body, to entice and please men.

If commissions were included, she could earn this 100,000 in two months if she was lucky, or three months if she wasn't.

However, if commissions were not included, what Kassadin gave her was equivalent to her annual basic salary, which could be said to be extremely generous.

"Mr. Kassadin, I think we can talk all night."

"And you should be visiting Xandar for the first time. I can tell you more about it."

Seeing Kassadin so generous, Lacey also stood up, placing her right hand on her chest and speaking proactively.

Although she didn't know what race or appearance Kassadin was, the aura of a superior on Kassadin suggested he was most likely a handsome man.

"No, thank you, Ms. Lacey. You've already helped me enough."

"This is just me fulfilling my previous promise."

"I think I'll need to ask you for information again in the future."

"I look forward to our next meeting, Ms. Lacey."

Harvey shook his head slightly at her words and, after saying goodbye, his body transformed into a purple light and disappeared directly from the bar.

Lacey was somewhat stunned to see Kassadin leave.

She had been working in the Bounty Bar for many years, relying on her beauty and methods, progressing from a mere server who delivered drinks and food to an intelligence guide, and she now had backing.

Although she couldn't compare to the big figures, ordinary people didn't dare to directly tease her.

Because she didn't have any special superpowers to earn big money.

All she had was a good appearance and years of studying various techniques to entice men.

So Lacey would still proactively approach and tempt men.

With her beauty, when she used to entice new Bounty Hunter, as long as their aesthetics weren't too unusual, she almost always succeeded, never failing.

She never expected that today, when she proactively approached and said so much, she would still fail.

If Kassadin disliked her, she could understand, but Mr. Kassadin also said he looked forward to seeing her again.

It didn't seem like he disliked her, which made Lacey's feelings a bit subtle.

Thank you for all your votes, please continue reading.
