Taking advantage of Captain America's absence, Han Yu contacted Thor and Loki in Asgard, sending a star video call to the two brothers using the Green Lantern Ring.
It didn't take long for the video call to connect.
Han Yu waved his right hand in the air, and the busts of Thor and Loki appeared in mid-air.
"Wow, this thing can actually be used like this, how amazing!"
As soon as the video connected, Loki's surprised voice came through. Asgard didn't have such a magical communication method.
Thor rolled his eyes, looking somewhat helpless. Although he was also a little surprised by the Green Lantern Ring's method of communication, he calmed down and asked Han Yu about the matter first.
"What's up, Han? Have the other candidates for the Green Lantern Corps been decided?"
He guessed the reason, and now Thor was better at thinking than fighting.
The first thing that occurred to him wasn't to immediately swing his hammer; instead, he first considered how to defeat the opponent more conveniently and safely.
This made his subsequent battles much easier. The previous brute was now very thoughtful.
"You guessed right, I've found two more people you know, Steve, and the other is his friend Bucky. I plan to form three sub-teams first, and discuss this with you. We'll talk about the subsequent matters later," Han Yu said.
Thor pondered for a moment, then nodded. He had no objections to Han Yu recruiting Captain America.
He was also a member of the Avengers. During the previous Battle of New York, Captain America had directed the battle on the spot, issuing orders in an orderly manner.
In battle, a clear-thinking commander could determine the outcome of the battlefield.
Thor didn't have this kind of command ability. He didn't know if Han Yu did, but the latter had now found Captain America. Putting Han Yu aside, just considering Captain America, he was definitely the most suitable commander.
Thor felt inferior to Captain America's on-the-spot performance ability. If he had that kind of command ability, Asgard wouldn't have fallen so quickly during the three-country attack.
Hearing that the newly recruited person was actually Captain America, Loki instead curled his lip, "It's him? I don't like this guy."
In the Battle of New York, he remembered Captain America clearly. If it weren't for this human's orderly arrangement of tactics, the Avengers definitely wouldn't have been able to deal with the army he brought with such order.
He was still thinking about when he'd have a chance to get revenge, but he didn't expect that they would now be comrades.
Han Yu wasn't surprised by Loki's reaction. He shrugged and smiled faintly, "That's too bad, then you'll just have to withdraw, after all, we really need an excellent commander."
Hearing this, Loki was a little unconvinced, saying, "I can do it too, I invaded your Earth anyway!"
His words made both Han Yu and Thor laugh and cry. You invaded Earth and you're saying it so matter-of-factly.
"Do you think it's appropriate for you to say this to us?" Han Yu looked at Loki with a smile.
In the room, there were three people: one who invaded Earth, one who helped protect Earth, and the last one who was an Earthling. Loki's words were quite awkward.
Perhaps sensing the awkwardness, Loki finally realized how off-putting his words were. He chuckled dryly and added, "Well, it was still a battle, and the cause and effect aren't important. The important thing is, I commanded quite well, didn't I?"
His words couldn't be denied. Han Yu hadn't seen it with his own eyes, and there were no memories of Loki commanding the aliens.
But the fact that those aliens were able to spread out and disperse the Avengers' forces during the invasion was also due to Loki's command.
If it weren't for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s high command sending out a Nuclear Missile, and Tony Stark sacrificing himself to carry the Nuclear Missile into the wormhole, even if Earth had won in the end, it wouldn't have been pretty.
After all, that was a Nuclear Missile, and its attack range was enough to destroy New York.
The aliens Loki brought with him, though technologically advanced, weren't advanced enough to casually withstand a Nuclear Missile. They, like humans, were pre-nuclear beings.
That is, species that hadn't been born after a nuclear explosion, and couldn't be immune to nuclear radiation or a certain degree of nuclear shock, and would still be killed by things like grenades.
Han Yu said, "That's not okay either. In the end, we still won, and the fact that you, with the title of Asgard's top magician, came to play melee combat, makes me think even less of you."
Hearing others mention how he liked stabbing people with daggers, Loki was incredibly embarrassed. He quickly said, "I'm changing, I'm changing. Hela has been training me in magic attacks lately, and I've improved a lot."
While speaking, he kept winking at Thor, trying to be discreet, like a student cheating in front of a teacher. The student thinks they're being flawless, but to the teacher, it's as obvious as if they put the answers on the desk.
Han Yu smiled at Thor, asking him with his eyes what he thought. Seeing his brother's obvious "hint," Thor nodded helplessly, indicating that it was true.
Just as Loki was gloating, preparing to show off to Han Yu, Thor added another sentence.
"The improvement is indeed significant. He doesn't need to carry a knife anymore; he can conjure several with magic. And with the Green Lantern Ring you gave him, he can now conjure all sorts of daggers even more unscrupulously."
This undermining remark made Loki cover his face. Truly, he was worthy of being his brother; he was too good at messing with his own brother.
Loki felt for the first time what it was like to be set up by someone else.
He wanted to argue, but Han Yu waved his hand and said, "Alright, alright, I won't banter with you anymore. You two pack up and come to the general store to find me. Steve is definitely coming in. You two need to speed up your integration. I don't want any internal conflicts that are harmful to the Corps."
Having said that, Han Yu had already settled Captain America's joining the Green Lantern Corps. Loki opened his mouth, but didn't say anything more; he knew when to back down.
The Grand General had already spoken so plainly; if he still refuted, it would be him being ignorant. By then, even Thor wouldn't be able to protect Loki, as Han Yu had said.
Seeing Loki sullenly shut his mouth, Han Yu nodded in satisfaction. He told them to hurry up, then hung up the communication.
He planned to go upstairs, take a shower, and freshen up. But as he turned around, he found Ultron and Quicksilver standing behind him.
"Damn, you scared the hell out of me!"
