The sisters buzzed with excitement as the school buses lined up outside.
"Field trip day!" Mika shouted, bouncing on her seat. "Snacks, fun, freedom!"
Nari crossed her arms. "You forgot: endless walking, boring lectures, and overpriced souvenirs."
Sayo adjusted her notebook. "A museum is an opportunity to expand our minds. And the zoo will allow us to observe animal behavior."
Yua clutched her lunch bag, whispering, "…I just hope no animals… jump at me."
Their teacher clapped. "First stop—the museum!"

At the Museum
The building was enormous, filled with ancient artifacts, glowing displays, and towering dinosaur skeletons.
Mika immediately ran to the fossil hall, standing under a massive T-rex. "This is AWESOME! Imagine if it came alive and chased us!"
"Don't give her ideas," Nari muttered.
Sayo stayed with the tour guide, scribbling notes furiously. "The architecture of these artifacts reflects—oh! Look at this pottery!"
Meanwhile, Yua lingered in the art gallery. She stared at a painting of a peaceful meadow, her tail swaying gently. "…It feels… calm."
The sisters regrouped at the gift shop. Mika tried on a ridiculous dinosaur hat.
"Rawr! Fear me!"
"You're an embarrassment," Nari sighed, though she smirked faintly.

Lunch Break
They ate outside under the museum steps.
Mika traded her sandwich for someone's cookies.
Nari guarded her bento box like a dragon with treasure.
Sayo quietly handed out napkins.
And Yua shared little doodles she had made in her sketchbook, making her classmates smile.

At the Zoo
The next stop was the zoo. The moment they walked in, Mika's tail puffed up.
"Look at all the animals!! They're like cousins!"
Nari raised an eyebrow. "If you climb into a cage, I'm leaving you there."
Sayo studied the information boards carefully. "Did you know flamingos are only pink because of their diet?"
But Mika was already pressing her face to the glass at the tiger enclosure. "He's my spirit animal."
Yua stood quietly in front of the penguins, eyes sparkling. "They look… so happy together."

At the monkey enclosure, Mika waved energetically.
"Hey! Over here!"
One monkey mimicked her, sticking its tongue out.
Mika stuck hers out back.
Soon, it turned into a full-on face-making contest, with a crowd of kids cheering.
"…Why are we related to her," Nari muttered.

End of the Trip
By the time the buses rolled home, the sisters were exhausted but glowing with memories.
Mika hugged her dino hat. "Best field trip ever!"
Nari smirked, holding a keychain she secretly bought. "…Could've been worse."
Sayo flipped through her notes with a satisfied smile. "I learned a lot today."
And Yua clutched a tiny penguin plush from the gift shop, whispering, "…I want to come again."
They leaned against each other on the ride back, tails brushing gently as the bus hummed along.
