At fourteen, Dannie was far from the image of a refined heiress. Mischievous, spirited, and sharp-tongued, she was known throughout her school for her playful defiance. Wherever laughter echoed or trouble brewed, Dannie and her band of friends were never far behind. They were called the "Chaser"—a name both mocking and mischievous, for they claimed their purpose was simple: to stir chaos and chase after fun.
