Silence swallowed the arena.

From the blow, they thought she had died.

After a while everyone begins to murmur.

Some sympathized with her, while the others hated a half-blood and said she had it coming.

"No!!!" Alpha Drey growled loudly as he tried running to the arena, but his Beta held him.

The silver-haired boy lay crumpled against the far stone wall, his body half-shifted, blood darkening the pale dust beneath him. His wolf form flickered, unable to hold, ribs rising and falling in shallow, uneven breaths.

A red smear trailed behind where he had landed, proof that Becky's strike had not been restrained in the end.

The crowd stared, all waiting for what was to happen.

Some with mouths open.

Some frozen mid-breath.

Some already backing away.

No one cheered.
