Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: Why…?/is this just fate??/The End…???

The Void Man suddenly drops down on his back, lying down on the softish, yet somewhat sooth feeling, purple grass covering his whole back half as he now lays very... overly... vulnerable.

As he starts vanishing slowly from the opening hole that Veronica had given him (ash-ingly making his whole body disappear from the inside out of his stomach), Veronica just asks him the now very last question, from the very last soul he, The Void Man, will ever see before he fades from the darkness he had once created, and will now fall into a new eternity of darkness that will still feel very similar to the dark he had always been used to, But is not just his own anymore...

Because It will be a darkness, that belongs to all fallen angels alike, who at one point in time had seen the light but will now forever see...

For a l l e t e r n i t y—

"Why"

Veronica cries in pure anguish and painful anger, feeling no sympathy for her enemy at all and yet, still wants to question the man on one single aspect of his madness...—

"WHY DID YOU DO THIS‼️‼️‼️"

Veronica starts crying in a suffering, yet almost lifeless like expression and shouts really loud in an aggravated and still very painful like scream, in which the man just decides to reply with...

...

. . .

"Because, I Just Had To."

. . .

"It... was... my..."

"F a t e ."

As The Void Man whispers those very words, that very sentence, still vague to Veronica of what any of it could mean...

That Monster... in that very moment... had finally...

Faded into the...

T r u e D a r k n e s s . . . Where he felt he had truly belonged.

And due to his horrible actions and acts of terrible genocide, ... he at last, had fallen into his final consequence, that he felt he finally, at this point in his long suffering, truly deserved. . .

And as the downing light of the sunset starts to shine in the spot where the Monster that had killed her friends and had his robots explode the spaceship above in his last breath, as the big space carrier/craft falls onto the other side of the planet, crashing into the ground and creating a huge, planet shattering effect. But of course, after everything that had just shockingly occurred...Veronica could really care less about the exploding space ship as she just happens to kneel there as if that M a n was never even there... in the very first place.

But oh so sadly, and soon, the once good memories of all her friends will eventually, now, and forever... be tainted by the darkness that may have left them physically, but will horribly and utterly, never leave her at peace and will always shroud her in a once not so heavy, but now, not so peaceful, and overly dreading...

Eternal . . .

Darkness.
