Huang Hao smiled and bowed at the small group.
"Young master Chun Jian Young master Chun Xiaobo." After greeting them he waved Bai Chun forward.
"This is Bai Chun, a friend of mine." Bai Chun bowed to them without changing his expression. Chun Jian hummed without saying anything to Bai Chun who stepped back and slightly away from them now he still has no power yet feeling slightly frustrated inside.
"You two go get two chairs." Chun Jian pointed to the maids that were massaging Huang Hao and Bai Chun, they bowed and rushed off since they noticed the difference in rank with everyone.
Chun Jian and his brother took the only two chairs and sat down with Chun Xiaobo looking smugly at the two standing. Bai Chun looked over at Huang Hao discreetly and noticed the hidden annoyance in his eyes even though he kept smiling.
"Why are the young masters here?" Huang Hao asked respectfully.
"What have you been up to? Hmm? I heard from one of my servants that they saw your eighth sister seducing Min Qiang which led to him marrying my sister." He smiled at Huang Hao. Hearing this Huang Hao dropped to his knees, his smile dropping.
"Young master normally I would never do such a thing but the young miss came to me begging to help her since she loved him so much, then she threatened me with the magistrate so I had no choice." Hearing what he said Bai Chun looked over slightly shocked at the two men. His mind turned before his eyes turned and locked onto Lian Hua gently playing the zither with her head down.
After glancing at Chun Jian and Huang Hao, Bai Chun crept over to her, stopping behind her and leaning over to her ear.
"You're lucky it's me who found out and not my Fuqin. I did cover for you though." He sneered at Huang Hao resting his chin on his hand. Huang Hao lowered his head hiding his face and noticed Bai Chun next to Lian Hua.
"So what do I get in return for helping you?" Chun Jian said teasingly knowing how much money Huang Hao's family has.
To the side Bai Chun whispered into her ear.
"Do me a favor and I can get Huang Hao to support you to become a concubine of that guy there." Lian Hua's eyes widened at his words, her heart speeding up but she didn't stop her hands from moving on the zither.
"You heard what Huang Hao said, that guy is a noble so if you are able to join you can make even more money than you are here at the tea house." Without lifting her head she kept listening to what Bai Chun said feeling tempted.
"All you have to do is serve him some tea to show your face. You can even show a little skin if you feel confident enough to do so." Bai Chun glanced at her expression and quickly noticed her expression and smirked slightly.
"As you can see I'm pretty close with Huang Hao and he has a lot of money. Trust me and your life will get great." Then he stood straight subtly getting back in his spot near Huang Hao.
Huang Hao gives him a questioning look since Chun Jian is starting to get impatient. Lian Hua stood up gently and walked past Bai Chun, glancing at the corner of her eye and subtly nodded her head to him.
Bai Chun then looked at Huang Hao and gave a light nod indicating Lian Hua. Seeing this Huang Hao lifted his head and looked at the impatient Chun Jian.
"As thanks for the help I can use my money to buy this girl from her family so you can take her as your woman." Lian Hua took the teapot from the maid, stood to the side and went to his side pouring him a full cup of tea fluttering her lashes gently. Chun Jian looked at her up and down before he turned to Huang Hao with a lewd grin.
"You're young but you know me well." Seeing his grin Huang Hao stood up dusting his clothes off. At this moment the maids that left to get the chairs rushed over and placed the chairs down before stepping back next to the maid holding the tea tray. Huang Hao waved Bai Chun to sit next to him at the table.
"I'm not that young, only five years younger than you." Chun Jian laughed loudly and wrapped his arm around Lian Hua's waist. He gave her an appreciative look.
"I was considering getting a concubine since my Qizi hasn't become with child for a while." He sighed and rubbed his hand down to her plum bottom giving it a nice squeeze.
"As long as you do as you promised and I can take her in I will keep quiet about my sister." Huang Hao nodded and bowed his head to him.
"I will make sure her family is paid off tonight and you can bring her in whenever you wish too." Chun Jian laughed happily as he looked at Lian Hua lustfully.
"Ugh, I thought we were coming here to punish this merchant guy, not for you to get a free concubine. I wouldn't have come if I knew this is all we were gonna be doing." Chun Xiaobo groaned, dropping his head on the table.
"Sit up, it's improper to lay around like that." Chun Jian frowned at him.
"I can send the maids to order some desserts on my tab for you as compensation for the travel." Huang Hao said calmly with his signature smile back on his face. Chun Xiaobo's head popped up with excitement filling his eyes.
"Oh yes, do that!" He said excitedly, Chun Jian rolled his eyes at him before finally locking his eyes onto Bai Chun who he has been ignoring this whole time. Seeing this Huang Hao started talking.
"My Fuqin wishes for me to finish learning how to run the business so I have been investing in Bai Chun so that when I'm able to focus on the official career I expect him to help me move up the rank faster." Chun Jian looked Bai Chun up and down before looking at Huang Hao questioningly.
"Are you sure he can do what you hope he looks low born?" Bai Chun glanced at Huang Hao after hearing what Chun Jian said before looking down trying to avoid getting in any trouble.
"He is very smart and will be useful in the future." Huang Hao said with a calm smile. Chun Jian looked at Bai Chun curiously.
"Since Huang Hao trusts you I will trust you in the future when I need help since I know how shrew he is." Bai Chun stood and bowed to him.
"Thank you young master, ask me if you need help in the future." He sat back down not really caring for him since he plans on using Lian Hua to help him with future plans using pillow talk.
