Chapter 1 - The encounter

The city never really slept.Neon lights flickered, siren wailed in the distance and beneath it all shadow moved where no sunlight ever reached.

At the heart of it stood rehaan Oberoi--the eldest son of the Oberoi mafia empire.A name that meant fear. Face that meant death.

Clad in black tailored suit with a gun resting casually in his hand. He wasn't just a man--he was the storm that everyone prayed to avoid. Around him his men moved like a shadows disciplined and silent waiting for his order.

The night 🌙 air was thick with tension somewhere in the distance,a car screeched someone whispered a warning---and he didn't flinch nothing could touch him.....until destiny intervened.

A girl--Ananya sighania--steped into choas.the forgotten middle daughter of her family.neither celebrated like her elder sister, not pampered like her younger sibling, she was always existing in the background.

Clutching her bag tightly, she moved carefully, unaware of the armed men lurking in the shadows.her footstep 👣 echoed as if daring fate itself.

And then...she looked up.

Straight into Rehan eyes.

Time stooped.

She should have loweredher gaze. She should have trembled. She should have run.

But she didn't.

Here eyes were wide,a mix of tear and defiance--something no one had ever dared show rehaan.A dangerous, intoxicating sparks ignited inside him.

Rage. Intrigue. Obsession.

He took a slow step forward. The streetlight glinted off his watch, the metal of his gun,the cold hardness in his eyes.every man around him stiffened he was danger incarnate--and she had looked straight him.

Ananya stumbled slightly on the uneven road, reaching out to steady herself against a car. Rehaan's sharp gaze followed every moment, every flicker of emotions.

"Who is she?"his voice was low, lethal velvet wrapped in poison.

His man exchanged nervous glances.finally,one whispered,"she's...no one,sir.Just a girl."

Rehaan's jaw tightened.his fingers brushed the gun.slowly,a dangerous smile covered his lips.

"No one?"he repeated, his gaze never leaving hers.then why the hell I can't I look away from her?

A sudden screen from the alley made Anaya flinched for a second, scanning the street.someone tried to approach them. One swift moment, and the man crumbled silently to the ground.his man didn't move.they didn't need to.rehaan presence alone was enough.

Ananya swalled hard. Her mind scremed at her to run--but something held her.some thing dangerous.something magnetic.

She turned to run-- a firm hand gripped her wrist.cold.strong.crushing.she froze.heart thundering.

Rehaan leaned closer, his face inches from hers, the streetlight casting half his face in shadow.you really shouldn't be here.he murmured his voice low and commanding, yet edged with curiosity she couldn't understand.

I....didn't know she stammered.

I didn't ask for excuses,he interrupted .his grip tightening just enough to make her shiver but you.....you have my attention now.

Her breath caught.a mix of tear and something inexplicable fluttered in her chest.

That night she learn a dangerous lesson: in rehaan Oberoi's world 🌎 ,curiosity could get you killed. But sometime,it could also make you unforgettable

And he has already decided that she is un forgettable that single thought twisted in his chest like a blade--sweet and painful all at once every instinct in him screamed to claim, to protect, to dominate and yet something deeper lingered:curiosity, fascination, obsession.

Ananya hand still trembled where his had barely touched it.she had never felt power so close,so cold, yet intoxicating.her breath came shallow, heart racing like a caged bird.she wanted to run,scream,vanish--yet every nerve in her body resisted.she couldn't tear her eyes from his.

Rehaan watched her like a predator observing his prey.but this was different.she wasn'tprey.shewas...unpredictable.fragile,yes--but daring in ways no one dared to be.and that terrified and thrilled him in equal measure.

You don't know what you have stepped into.he said in low voice almost a whisper.the shadow of alley wrapped around him,but the darkness seemed thinner where he stood, like the night itself was bending toward his will.

I..didn't--"she started, voice trembling, but he cut her off with raised hand.

Shh..don't speak not yet.

The word were not cruel, not exactly--but they carried weight, authority and a possessive undertone.she couldn't ignore she had heard a warning about the man like him but hearing it from him make it really terrifying.

Rehaan eyes swept the street once more.every shadow every flicker of moment every whisper of the city seem to demand his attention--and yet none of it matter only she did.

You will remember tonight he said finally stepping closer voice like velvet dipped in steel and whether you want it or not you will remember me

Ananya swallowed hard.her mind screamed at her to run,but the pull, magnetic and dangerous, held her frozen.she noticed every detail:the glint of his watch in the pale streetlight, the curve of his lips, the dangerous set of his jaw.everything about him screamed danger--but it was the kind of danger you couldn't look away from.

A sudden movement in the alley made her flinch.rehaan gaze snapped toward it instantly. A man reckless and foolish, thought he could steel something--anything-- while rehaan was distracted.but rehaaan moved like lightening.one step, one motion of his hand, and the intruder crumbled silently to the ground.

Ananya gasped, heart hammering. She had never seen anything like that. The man hadn't screamed.there wasn't even time to register fear.and yet the terror lingered in his chest like a living thing.

You think think this is a game.rehaan said, turning back to her.his voice was calm but lethal every syllabus edged with danger.this is my world.and you have just walked into it.

I...I am sorry. She stammered, voice shaking.

Sorry won't save you he replied, stepping closer until the space between them was electric. The night air seemed to hum with tension. His hand brushed a stand of her hair from her face --not gentle, not cruel. But deliberate, as if claiming her presence.

Ananya's heart ❤️ thudded wildly. Part of her screamed to pull back but another part--curious,rebellious,inexplicable drawn--did nothing.she didn't move away.

Rehaan studied her closely.every flicker of her expression, every inhale and exhale, every subtle tremor--it all became a map of her emotions for him.he didn't want just to observe. He wanted to posses, in ways she could not yet understand.

Do you know what happens when someone crosses me? His tone was calm, but the danger in it could have frozen a man soild

she shook her head, voice caught some where between fear and awe

You become memorable,he said softly. And lucky for you....you already are.

Aanya knees nearly gave out. She wanted to run,but she couldn't. Something in the way he spoke, the way he looked at her held her rooted to the spot. She was terrified-- bt also, inexplicable...fascination

Rehaan gaze softened ever so slightly, just enough that she caught it. A flicker of something beneath the ruthless exterior--a spark...curiosity?obsession?perhaps even

administration but it was fleeting, gone in a blink, leaving only the dangerous man who could crush her without efforts.

Listen carefully he said stepping slightly closer so close that she could feel his warmth, the subtle danger in his presence "you will leave this street tonight. And you will go back to your world" thinking it save. But you will never be free of Me. Not tonight Not ever.

Aanya chest tightened. She wanted to speak, to protest, to demand answer--but no word came. She felt as if the very air around her had thickened and every breath reminded her that she was in his world 🌎 now--a world of danger, obsession and rules she has no control over.

For a moment silence fell. The city the noise seem distant, as if the night paused itself to watch the encounter. Rehaan studied her one last time, his hand lingered near her waist--not touching now, but the threat in it was palpable.

"Go",he whispered finally. "Run...if you can"

She stumbled back, barely able to comprehend, and run. Not far--just enough to escape the immediate danger--but every step is heavy with the weight of his presence. Some where behind her,she could feel his gaze burning into her back, invisible yet inescapable.

And in his mind, one thought repeated like mantra:she is unforgettable.
