Chapter 6 - A Neckless conqueror

"How dare you!!!" The king forehead was furrowed, and his jaw tightened strongly, when the vanguard declared.

"Such a bully vanguard!!" Her biting tongue striking like a viper. "Hmph, he really think we are scared of their presence? He think, Thallerion— is the lowest nation?" Her gaze was sharply pointed at the vanguard face.

Now, the phalanx of masculine, lion-hearted men, with corn-silk hair, curled like an apron on their chests. Their brute waists, ornamented with swords and pistols, stood upheld at the Thallerion border.

"STOP!" A loud, yet dignified, shout from a Thallerion gate-keeper soldier echoed through the Moonatoria Vanguard's ears. A low murmur rippled through their ranks.

"That's great, they must not come to pass in the border line, such a bully...we must rebuke them!" But suprisingly, the voice of our gate-keeper, amazed the queen, after the flocks of Moonatoria, stop." The Queen head showed authority upon the arrival of the Moonatorians.

"So, Moonatoria. What foul spirits, drag you here, such an audacity to come here, without our consent?" Her tone impulse with venom, hinted her displeasure.

"King and Queen...of...Thallerion!" The vanguard stood , etched with a bitter smile, with low guttural, hinted with malice. "Presenting to you, My honorable king, the crown breaker, most powerful among kings. Killer of forty-three kings."

"Such an evil king! Killing such number of kings, was undeniably, wicked, merciless conqueror!" The queen said clutching her chest. "Where is that King?" Her head searching a face of Moonatoria's king among the Moonatorians retinue.

They can't see who among of them was the king of Moonatoria, but perhaps, in the bulbed-onion detached on the wheels, ten men, slaves, chained, and lifted the golden canopy chariot, like onion bulb. Inside, one chubby bellied man, clad in silvery silk, belted with many decorative weapons, no doubts, he is the king, seated lazily.

"Behold… King Hedromus. Lord of Moonatoria. Conqueror… and perhaps, today… executioner."

"Ow, he is too undeniably obese, how can a man like him, kill 43 kings? Well, not to judge by the appearance, he—" Her impulse hinted with teased, then she laughed. "Hahaha...look at his belly? Is that a balloon? He actually a neckless, conqueror!"

At the selfsame hour, as the Queen echoing infront of the Thallerion soldiers, the king of Moonatoria lips etched with curved line. His eyes, stare at the queen with cold gazed. He snorted with a displeasure.

"Listen, everyone.... today...my king Hedromus... give you a chance to live. He wanted to offer you a spare life....surrender this land to him... and follow our mighty Constellar Protector."

"hah, what an idiot!!" The king shouting.

"Moonatorians, our land Thallerion is not accepting king, with infested by an unknown Constellar entity!" The queen tone was loud and firm, then she breathes. "Unless, the king of Moonatoria come here to build a better alliance."

The Queen, her crescent robes flowing, bestowed an unwelcome greeting upon the visitors. The Moonatoria nation, its familiar furrowed brow turned toward Thallerion's defiant head.

"Well, the Orion here in Thallerion, neglected his own people, yet, here comes my king, sympathize, give compassion to those, abandoned, forgotten people by their own protector."

"We don't believe you, Orion entity never been neglected us without a reason." The king defensive reaction was like a sharp blade.

"That is exactly what we've come here for." A vanguard of Moonatorians stood, clutching his bearded jaw. "We are here to prove to all of you: If we are going to destroy the very heart of your kingdom—will the Orion entity come and rescue you?"

Her husband Cerceux, clutching his silvery rounded-bullet gun, as the vanguard stood forward arrogantly. While, the king of Moonatoria seat comfortably on his golden chariot. "I can't bear watching his slaves... lifted it...agonizing due to his obesity... how such an oppressor!!!" Her voice laced with heavy tone like bearing a giant boulder.

"You, bearded vanguard! Step back or I won't hesitate to fire a gun!" The King of Thallerion declared, poised, holding his holstered pistol. The vanguard meticulously plucked dirt from his nails with a hint of a grimace, then spat, and stood arrogantly, counting the lives of every Thallerion soldiers.

Then, the King of Moonatoria coughed sarcastically. "Ye forsaken folk, and chieftains of craven blood! If ye desire to preserve thy lives—Surrender"

A unison clang of Thallerion's shields resonated from its umbilical formation, clanking loudly! Forming a solid defensive wall with spears protruding!

"We don't need your filthy Protector!" the Queen rebuked, her voice sharp. "Surrender?!"

"Have you lost your mind?" She said infront of the Moonatorians, like an arrow piercing through their ears. "We, Thallerion, perhaps the other nation thought the same thinking, the lowest or whatever, as we don't have Orion's help... but... Surrender?—that is not our vocabulary!"

"Hmph, we won't surrender!" King added loudly. "Well, look like the king of Moonatoria doesn't want any alliance." He thought.

"Ah-ah-ah-ah! Enough with your words, vow before my king!" The vanguard roared, reacting with furious indignation. "It's your choice!"

"Huh, I'm sorry to tell you, we don't vow at any king with unknown Entity!" the King of Thallerion clarified, his voice unwavering. At the same time, the king of Moonatoria, smile with a bellicose stare. "And we are not afraid, even if no one is taking care of us. For we are Thallerion, we won't be afraid of anything!"

"Hahah, really?" The Moonatorians chuckled insanely, their laughter chilling. "Are they weren't afraid?" The vanguard said in his mind.

The queen and king of Thallerion noticed the king of Moonatoria signaling his slaves to move the chariot forward then, his lips with a line of pride, spoke. "King of Moonatoria, looks like you're willing to bully us...but, if you don't mind...why we don't talk about alliances? Or... let's negotiates first."

"My king, need no time for negotiation...it is a waste of time!" The vanguard scoffed.

"I will tell you, Moonatoria... Thallerion will not surrender!" The king, authoritative manner lace with grim. Then he tried to recall the name of Moonatoria entity on his mind. "I hardly speak of their Constellar's entity...It feel like, the name of their entity seemingly in an edge of my tongue."

"If 'tis so, then shall we not in earnest fray declare the veritable well of our spirit and flesh?" The King of Moonatoria spoke in his archaic, comfortable accent. Then, the king of Moonatoria declared. "Assail!!!"
