GRAWWRRRR!!!! The Moonatorian's beasts felt that the soldiers were indeed strong, every whoosh of a sword, their skins were slit painfully. There on the ground, Thallerion soldiers slaughtered ten bears, simultaneously. Other were growled in protest by the severe wounds. Yet, even with the rekindled spirit of Thallerion soldiers, their strength was still no match for the beastly might, especially against King Hedromus, a formidable enemy, chosen by the Constellar-Ursa entity as its worthy champion. Many throughout Moonatoria recognized him as a violent king, blessed with immense strength from the gods of heaven, particularly from Ursa's primal ferocity. However, the king proved that his skill didn't originate from another being; he was no ordinary king, but a force of nature unto himself.
King Hedromus's warrior beasts stood, in the center of the battlefield, their fur-feathered skins, start smoking like it was burning within, then, they unleash a maelstrom of flame, casting it into the very heart of the battlefield where Thallerion's soldiers faced their bitter fate against Moonatoria.
"So, this is what, your trying to say...a secret inner power!?" King Cerceux shocked. "I thought, our reawakening ability can now stop them...but, Ursa beasts was indeed powerful." He was bothered within his mind, knowing that their new found strength was still weak against king Hedromus.
"Hahahha, they are belong to the flame Ursa beasts, some are ice, some are woods, and some are earth type Ursa beasts!" He said arrogantly, but the king of Moonatoria still not showcasing his true power. "I told you ... Thallerion were no match against us!" Moonatorian soldiers regain a scornful mirth, they laughed again like frog croaked when the rain was poured out. "Accept the challenge and we will stop chasing Thallerion."
Then, the insatiable flames consumed the entire forest, bringing with them the stench of defeat and the spilled blood of soldiers whose armor, the color of blue flower, became mere fuel for the hell Moonatoria had wrought.
While the Ursa Wood Moonatorians, relentlessly pursued Thallerion soldiers through the ancient forest, a terrestrial domain for all earthly-type wood Ursas. Gasping trees could be seen, consumed by the intense blaze created by clashing shields. No one could foresee the future, so dire was the present. Even the sun recoiled, twisting in fear at the destruction of lives by war. Yet, amidst the chaos, the loud shout of a Moonatoria Pawn's word emerged, mocking their demise.
"Your majesty...we have a survivor, but many were killed by the green Ursa." He rushed, panting. "The survivor said, there was a group of green Ursa beast like a wood type Ursa, ambushed them." The king of Thallerion eyes dropped and inhaled deep heavily, he keep his lips closed as tight as seashell.
"Such a bad news." The queen heart beat like there was a heavy stone inside her chest. But, despite the situation, her eyes stay positive. " Did he found a safe route?"
"Aye your majesty...but...he was wounded, but the map specialist was now assessing him, to get the information."
"We must find a way out to escape from the Moonatorians. To secure our family, and children of Thallerion." The King of Thallerion said.
"Well, if there is only one option, I would rather choose to save my family, first." The king thought, even though, his mind saying it is a selfishness but those bear warriors were surrounded his kingdom, there is no mercy etched on their ferocious face. Escaping out there has little chance, like a narrow needle hole.
"I had no choice , but to accept the challenge of the Moonatorian's king." The king said to everyone in the throne. "king Hedromus, a king who had a unique language with an archaic accent to be exactly. I know, this is the right way to culminate this chaos, but I don't know if I could do it?" He thought. The boy was there listening.
"Dad, you are just a human, you only have sword and shield but how about the power of your opponent?" The chill wind bit at Xerxez's exposed skin as he watched his father, the King of Thallerion, stand resolute at the doorway. Each glint off the polished steel of the king's sword, as he meticulously prepared it in its sheath, felt like a spike through Xerxez's heart.
"Father, this is not a good idea... Please don't go there?" Xerxez's voice was a raw plea, barely a whisper against the rising tide of his fear. The queen embraced the son with sadness as she watched her husband talking to their son.
"It is time to face the beast." His sword glinted at the eyes of everyone present in the throne there. "The councils was already made a big decision. I know ... No one can do it... Except for me." He sighed deeply.
"Go with your mom, and don't ever try to show your face at the battlefield, understood?" The king replied, his voice a low rumble, heavy with a resolve that only deepened Xerxez's terror.
"But dad, it's dangerous out there! The bears are still there!" Xerxez's eyes, wide and trembling, fixed on his father's hand, now firmly gripping the hilt of a gleaming silver gun, a strange, powerful artifact.
The raw, guttural screams of the people caught in the bears' rampage echoed in Xerxez's mind, vivid and horrifying. He saw, parents clutching the cold, lifeless forms of their children, their bodies wracked with sobs, their cries for justice tearing through the once-peaceful air. The groans of dying soldiers, their last breaths rattling in their chests, were a deafening chorus that would forever haunt his nightmares.
"Father... Use my dagger...there is something incredible with my dagger...use it fight those Ursa entity."
"Yeaks! Yeaks...I can help your father kill...kill the beast!" The talking dagger said, that Xerxez was only nodded in understanding as he heard it alone.
"Where did you get this dagger? It's different from the Thallerion weapons display on the Thallerion wall."
"It's beautiful!" The queen wondered. "Who gave you this?" Her eyes intently stared at the boy. "Is it similar to the lost dagger of Orion?"
"I just found it in the forest." The boy became hesitant about the void and Mr Martheuw Cereun.
"In the forest?" The king said doubting the answer of the boy. "Well...Just keep it .... That treasure dagger is no use against those beasts...I think it is just a decorative weapon..but this gun... accept this." The king voice softer now, as a small gun glinted in Xerxez's trembling hand.
"No matter what will happens, don't take it away; use it with all your might! Protect yourself!"
"But Mr. Martheuw Cereun...told me...it can defeat a Four legged beast."
"Oh, who is that guy...is he a friend of you, my son?" The queen was intrigued curiously. "I never heard that name in Thallerion."
"He...he is my friend... somewhere in...in the forest!" The boy was stammered.
"Well, it is good to hear that you have another friend...but this time...we don't need to argue about your friend and the dagger. Go with your mother. And, next...don't just trust people who you'd meet...you don't know the true form of other people outside of Thallerion border, understood?"
"No, Father...he is a good man." The boy tone was in disbelief. But the boy said in assertive way. "He help me fight Lacerta beasts!"
"Oh my holy Crux! You encounter the Lacerta clan!?" The queen was shocked, her face was reddening, while the king was furrowed, snorted loudly. "I warning you not to escape here in Thallerion...look at that... you're just lucky, they didn't kill you or make you as a ransom hostage!!" The queen tone was angered. "Lacerta clan was obsessed with treasure!"
"Well, tell that Mr Martheuw Cereun, I want to give him, thanks." Then, king of Thallerion faced the councils.
"Your majesty, we have already sent a letter at the Moonatorian about your acceptance with the challenge."
"Dad...please don't!"
"We have no choice, my son." His hand hold the boy shoulder. "Moonatorian will not stop until.....he and I, will fight...face to face...a King for a king." The King of Thallerion looked downhearted, his gaze distant, as if his very heart convulsed at the inevitable encounter with Moonatorian. The weight of his kingdom, the lives lost, pressed down on him with crushing force. "Where are you, Orion?" he whispered, a silent plea lost in the wind, a cry to a vanished protector.
"But he is a beast, and you are human!! That's unfair!!" The boy pitched loudly, everyone looked at them. His voice amplified, fueled by a searing rage against the injustice. How could a man, even a king, stand against such an abomination, a creature of myth?
While, Queen Xurien Wrez, her face etched with a desperate sorrow, reached out and clasped the king's hand, her fingers intertwining as if to physically hold him back from the precipice of his fate. "My king, are you sure you can do this?" Her voice trembled, a fragile plea, a whisper of a dying hope.
