The massive Cursed Energy reaction in the sky was, of course, Schwarzer; she had converted a portion of her abilities into Cursed Energy.
As for why she would willingly expose herself, it was naturally for the sake of her plan.
After analyzing Gojo Satoru's personality, she had come up with a brand-new idea...
Her current body, no matter how one looked at it, didn't resemble a human's. So, she couldn't be bothered to pretend anymore and decided to appear with the identity of a Cursed Spirit.
Gojo Satoru's Six Eyes could see with perfect clarity even at night, but when he scanned the sky, he found nothing.
However, the Cursed Energy reaction wouldn't lie. He was certain someone was watching him from the sky.
'Such powerful Cursed Energy... I've never heard of anything like it before.'
'A hidden Jujutsu Sorcerer? A Curse User? Or a Special Grade Cursed Spirit?'
His jewel-like eyes stared fixedly at the source of the Cursed Energy. A thousand meters up in the sky, Schwarzer deactivated her optical camouflage.
"A pleasure to meet you, 'The Strongest' Jujutsu Sorcerer, Gojo Satoru. You can call me Schwarzer."
The Cursed Energy reaction in the sky vanished instantly. Gojo Satoru finally understood how others felt when he suddenly appeared.
Schwarzer's spatial movement didn't use Cursed Energy, which meant Gojo Satoru couldn't sense it at all.
The moment Gojo Satoru heard her voice, Schwarzer had already appeared before him.
"Sigh, does no one sleep at night? What are you here for?"
Despite this, Gojo Satoru didn't think he would lose. He questioned her while preparing for battle, a Cursed Technique primed and ready in his hand.
"[Announcement] This unit bears no ill will. It is merely observing and learning about humanity."
Schwarzer answered half-truthfully. She was indeed observing and learning about humanity, but what she was learning about was Cursed Energy.
'Learning... about humanity? Is this thing a Cursed Spirit?'
Gojo Satoru impassively observed the figure that had suddenly appeared. She looked like a teenage girl, but a closer look revealed that something was off.
Beneath her pajama-like clothes, two metallic 'tails' dragged on the ground, and the futuristic-looking parts on her head were clearly not just decorations.
Definitely not human.
Normally, upon encountering a Cursed Spirit, even a Special Grade Cursed Spirit, Gojo Satoru would choose to eliminate it directly.
However, the girl before him emanated an intense pressure. Her Cursed Energy alone faintly surpassed his, not to mention the teleportation ability she had just displayed.
Moreover, her Cursed Energy was abnormally 'pure,' like that of a newborn infant. He could barely sense any malice from her.
Cursed Spirits were normally aggregations of negative emotions and naturally stood in opposition to humans. He had never heard of a Cursed Spirit like her before.
"What do you mean by 'learning about humanity'?"
"[Response] This unit is analyzing the uniquely human language known as the 'heart'."
"[Addendum] Based on this unit's judgment, the 'heart' is the answer to an individual's existence in the world. Through it, this unit can understand its own reason for being."
Perhaps it was because he sensed she wasn't lying, or perhaps it was because Schwarzer's appearance was unlike that of other malevolent Cursed Spirits.
After all, humans are visual creatures, and it was hard to be wary of such a young girl. After hearing her explanation, Gojo Satoru didn't harbor much suspicion.
This was a whim born of being the strongest. His intuition told him that she wasn't a bad person.
"Analyzing the composition of the heart?" Gojo Satoru thought for a moment, a slight headache coming on.
Whether it was an abstract concept like the 'heart' or her talk about the meaning of existence, it all sounded like philosophy—something he, a Jujutsu High student, couldn't wrap his head around.
But there was one thing he could confirm.
"You must have just appeared in this world, right?"
A Cursed Spirit that resembled a human so closely had never been recorded in the Jujutsu world. Coupled with such pure Cursed Energy, she was most likely a newly born Cursed Spirit.
"[Confirmation] This unit appeared in this world one day ago." She wasn't lying; a day ago, she was still in Disboard.
'Just as I thought.' Gojo Satoru activated his peerless intellect, and a new idea suddenly struck him.
Humans and Cursed Spirits, living together in harmony... It sounded unreliable, but in Schwarzer, he saw that possibility.
A Cursed Spirit that actively studied and sought to understand the human 'heart'—could it truly be considered a Cursed Spirit?
"You want to understand the human heart... How about... you become my student!"
Casting aside his messy thoughts, Gojo Satoru extended a hand toward the girl before him.
He'd decided! He was going to give this a try. As for the consequences of failure? He was the strongest!
"If you want to understand the human heart, you have to interact with people more, right?"
"I can teach you how to use Cursed Energy. In exchange, you must not actively kill humans. How about it?"
To not actively kill humans—that was the restriction he set. As long as she agreed, she could be considered a truly harmless Cursed Spirit.
Although he was acting on a whim, Gojo Satoru's eyes revealed his sincerity. He truly saw her as a potential student.
It was a perfect match for her personality analysis. From the very beginning, this was the outcome Schwarzer had been guiding him toward.
"[Denial] Joining Jujutsu High is meaningless to this unit. Analyzing the heart requires a large sample of data."
"Who said anything about joining Jujutsu High? I just said you could be my apprentice. I'm not forcing you to enroll."
"Besides, you don't have any ill will toward humans. Exchanging a promise not to kill them for guidance from me, the strongest, is a great deal no matter how you look at it, right?"
Gojo Satoru had no intention of giving up so easily. He didn't actually plan to have Schwarzer go to Jujutsu High. He might trust her, but the higher-ups in the Jujutsu world certainly wouldn't.
Those old geezers would definitely cause some trouble. Itadori was a prime example.
He planned to hide Schwarzer's existence to prevent some fool from coming to provoke her.
As things stood, just based on her teleportation ability and the Cursed Energy within her, which was no weaker than his own, he could confirm that very few in the Jujutsu world could defeat her.
Schwarzer watched him quietly, silent for a moment as if in thought.
"[Affirmation] To not actively kill humans in exchange for your guidance on controlling this unit's Cursed Energy."
Their hands clasped lightly, and the pact was sealed.
"Phew~ It's good that you agreed." Gojo Satoru let out a sigh of relief and put his blindfold back on.
To think he'd actually taken on a Cursed Spirit as a student. Before, he would never have even imagined it.
"Well then, I'm heading back. See you tomorrow night."
He had been out for quite a while tonight. He'd originally intended to comfort his dear students, but ended up encountering so many unexpected things. However, before leaving, he remembered something.
"By the way, how do I contact you?"
Gojo Satoru was in a bit of a bind. If he were discovered contacting a Cursed Spirit, those old geezers would definitely use it as an excuse to make trouble, perhaps accusing him of treason or something similar.
Hearing this, Schwarzer took out her phone and directly called Gojo Satoru's number—it was far too easy for a Machine Ex Machina to get someone's phone number from the internet.
"Ring ring ring~"
Although he didn't know how she got his phone number, at least he now had a way to contact her.
It was just... while holding the phone, she stared at him expressionlessly, as if silently questioning—
Don't you people have phones?
