Days of travel had passed, crossing the rugged mountain paths until at last they descended into the endless-looking green plains that stretched toward the Elven realm. Scattered trees dotted the vast land, flowers covered the fields, and everything radiated a sense of peace. A long road lay before them, leading straight to the kingdom of the elves.
At Mamir's side were his mother Kirarya, his uncle Necor, his aunt Bete, his beloved Runya, and his childhood friend Ener. After so many years of separation, they had all been reunited, bound together in the light that Mamir carried against the rising darkness.
During the journey, the silence gave way to warm and heartfelt words. Kirarya turned her gentle yet steady gaze toward Runya, who was sitting behind Mamir on Kabur's saddle.
— "My dear girl," Kirarya said softly, "tell me… how did you and my son Mamir become lovers? I want to hear it."
Runya's cheeks flushed as she lowered her gaze, then leaned closer, wrapping her arms around Mamir from behind. Her voice trembled with sincerity as she spoke from the depths of her heart:
— "He saved my life again and again. First in the fairy forest, then throughout all our journeys… Mamir became my hope, my strength. His light always pulled me out of the darkness. I fell in love with him from the deepest part of my heart. And when he returned my feelings… we became lovers."
Mamir smiled faintly at her words, turning his head slightly as gratitude and happiness flickered across his face.
Bete, the sister of Kirarya and Necor, watched the scene with emotion. She, too, had endured deep suffering like her siblings. But seeing their bonds restored filled her heart with warmth.
— "Love," Bete whispered, "is what makes us strongest and most vulnerable at the same time. And I see both of those in you two. It gives me hope."
Necor nodded firmly.
— "Hope is the greatest weapon we have against the darkness."
Ener grinned at his childhood friend.
— "You were always like this, Mamir. Even when we were kids—you never gave up, always searching for the light. And now you've shared that light with all of us."
Mamir looked at each of them in turn—his mother, his uncle, his aunt Bete, the girl he loved, and his friend. His heart swelled with pride and love.
— "Then our path is clear," he said. "A long road lies ahead. We will go to the Elven kingdom… and there too, we will spread our light."
The sun was setting over the horizon, casting long shadows across the green plain. Yet for Mamir and his loved ones, the road ahead had never seemed brighter.
