Late at night, Mitsuki Mui once again sat down to study the Three Basic Techniques.
Among them, the Clone Technique could be skipped for now. It was simple enough to get by with, and what really mattered was the Shadow Clone Technique—that one she had to master in the future.
When that time came… with her AA-rank cultivation speed combined with the shadow clones' multiplier effect… ho ho, she'd be unstoppable!
Uchiha Obito? Uchiha Madara? Hagoromo the Sage of Six Paths? Kaguya herself? She'd crush them all!
Of course, that all depended on one condition: that her chest stayed at AA-rank.
As for the Transformation Technique, it was worth practicing but not something she needed to obsess over. At least, that was how she saw it.
The real treasure was the Substitution Technique. That one, she needed to grind hard.
Yes—she would practice that tonight.
Then there was chakra refinement and hand-seal speed.
Chakra refinement could even be done while resting or asleep. In fact, she had already achieved that result in just over two days. Yesterday she had crossed that milestone.
Truly, AA-rank training speed was no joke.
Hand-seal speed, on the other hand… well, back when she had no other training methods, she had started at age three. By the time she reached five, she had only managed one seal per second.
But once her cultivation accelerated to AA-rank… in just three days she leapt to three seals per second.
That was the difference.
As for tree-walking and water-walking techniques? She mastered those in an instant.
Mitsuki Mui stretched a bit, digesting her dinner with a few warm-ups. After a quick trip to the bathroom, she got to work.
She set out three massive washbasins filled to the brim with water. Two of them had planks balanced on top.
And then… she began her drill: constant Substitution Techniques between the basins.
Substitution, substitution, substitution.
It only cost five chakra points per use. With her chakra pool, plus the recovery she managed between casts, she could easily fire off fifty in a row.
As for willpower energy—that recovered much more slowly, and its upper limit grew slower still. There was no need to rush it. One step at a time.
So she cycled: fifty substitutions, rest to recover chakra, then repeat.
She lost track of how many cycles she had completed. All she knew was that her mastery deepened with each repetition. At times, she even sensed faint traces of space itself within the Substitution Technique.
Of course, that made sense.
After all, substitution worked precisely because it shifted her body with an object—essentially a small-scale spatial displacement.
So then…
Could it be that the Second Hokage had discovered the space-time power hidden within substitution, and from there created the Flying Thunder God Technique?
"Ahhh… I'm exhausted!"
Feeling herself grow just a little stronger once again, Mitsuki Mui collapsed onto her wide bed, utterly drained.
"When will these days ever end? I don't want to train anymore… it's so tiring… I just want to play on a computer…"
A computer.
Mui paused. Wait—didn't the Naruto world have computers? Yes… she had seen one at Kakashi's house, though her own family didn't have one.
"What a weird world, huh? Some tech way ahead, some way behind. Well then… decision made! Next step: I'm buying a computer!"
Resolved, Mitsuki Mui nodded to herself. That was enough training for today. Time for a bath, then a deep, long sleep until morning.
"…But… I still don't want to graduate yet."
Soaking in the bath, Mui changed her mind once again.
"Right. A computer can wait. Better to stay in the Academy for another three years before graduating. Otherwise… if I head into missions before I've grown strong enough and just die, that'd be way too stupid."
In those three years, her chest would probably grow from AA to A, maybe edging toward B at most.
And with three years of training stacked on top…
Jonin-level strength would be guaranteed.
Then she could go bully enemy village genin to her heart's content. How satisfying that would be.
