Third POV
Varken stormed out of the dining area alongside Eve, his footsteps heavy on the ground as he breathed heavily, clearly agitated.
His eyes were wide with fury as he struggled to rein in his wolf. As he moved further away from the dining room, he leaned against the wall, pressing his hands against his chest in an attempt to steady himself.
"Varken, you must calm down..." Sasha began, but she didn't get to finish her sentence before he snapped at her, anger blazing in his eyes.
"Don't you dare! I have been humiliated by that... child, disgraced," he retorted angrily, while Sasha remained composed.
As she clenched her fist , she hated to see how a little girl had humiliated varken.
Varken was one of the strongest persons she knew, and as much as she hated to admire it she knew she needed him here , in the captital, it was a critical timing for everyone.
