Returning back to the garage, I disassembled the 2 pistol. Inspecting the barrel I found that the enchanted barrel has practically zero wear, from what I could see compared to that of the normal barrel.
Some of you may be wondering why I would disassembled the gun and wnchant them separately compared to enchanting it as a whole.
I was unsure if there was a limit to enchantment like that in the game and that it would be a bit costly to test it out.
Compared to a sword or bow which is used as 1 or 2 pieces, a gun requires many components to be usable.
Plus having more pieces interchangeable is more economical if something broke. Like if the pistol frame broke, I could simply swapped it out with another.
Having disassembled the pistol again, I began enchanting components that would wear down the most such as the slide, firing pin, recoil spring, and the extractor.
As for infinity, I decided to put the enchantment on the magazine instead. When I was going through the infinity book, it mostly pertains to the usage of bow.
So I'm unsure whether it'll work on a gun. The reason I decided to enchant it on the magazine is because it's what feed the ammo for the gun compare to other components.
Another component I decided to enchant was the suppressor. I had it enchanted with the same enchantments like the barrel, because it's pretty much a barrel extension.
After finishing up with the pistol and reassembling it, I headed out side again to test the new enchantment like infinity.
I first tested without the infinity magazine and it shot as expected without issues. One thing that was different was that the bullet was more powerful and could penetrate more with the newly enchanted suppressor.
Now up to the my current dilemma, the infinity enchantment. I loaded in the enchanted magazine with one bullet and took aimed.
*Psshh*
*Psshh*
With that second shot, I quickly realized that it work perfectly. The infinity magazine had worked and I pretty much no longer had to worry about running out of ammo.
In the end, the whole enchantment process cost me about 26 levels of experience to enchant one pistol in its entirety.
If my math is correct, I should have just enough to fully enchant 10 more weapons. I dont have to worry about enchanting infinity on each weapon because the magazine could be interchange with other weapons that used the magazine.
Before I could start disassembling my rifle, the door to the garage opened and standing their were all of the girls holding their guns.
A/N: HOT: girls with gun.
"Honey, could you also enchant our guns for us?"
Sighing, I explained to them that I only have enough experience to enchant 10 more guns, which is enough for everyone in the family.
All of the guns is pretty much of the same specification as my DMR and SBR. just with different optic and little unique trinkets that their shooter preferred.
As for me I decided to enchant my DMR since its what I used the most. Also because my pistol is now pretty much a pocket rifle so I wouldnt have to worry about close quarter engagement as much anymore.
That doesn't mean that I won't enchant my SBR in the future when I have enough EXPs again.
I spent the rest of the day disassembling, enchanting, and reassembling it all back.
The suppressor and barrel was enchanted with power, piercing, and unbreaking like the pistol barrel. The bolt carrier, firing pin, and recoil spring were enchanted with unbreaking although lower level, because I'd ran out of higher level books.
"I'll need to upgrade them to a higher level in the future."
All that's needed now was for the sight to be re-zero again since I had messed with the barrel taking it off and putting it back on.
Deciding that it was getting late, I decided to do it tomorrow or simply have the girl have fun and re-zero it themselves.
After heading to bed, my room was once more raided again tonight. After another intense battle, we all fell asleep from our exhaustion.
