For weeks, Shinichi spent every free moment in the library. He traced the clan's history, scroll by scroll, century by century.
Many records were lost or damaged. But after nearly a month, a pattern emerged.
Shinichi's face turned pale.
Then angry.
Then horrified.
XX27 Year – Clan dominated most of the Land of Ancestors, spreading their influence around every corner of Land of Fire.
XX32 Year – Senju Bora awakened Mokuton and defeated every Uchiha squad and team. Clan head Uchiha Tora fought with his Susanoo but was defeated.
XX33 Year – Clan head turned blind and died from injury few days later.
XX35 Year – the undefeatable Senju Clan head Senju Bora died. Senju did not announce the cause of his death.
XX98 Year – Due to the heavy casualties and loss of elite clansmen, the clan retreated back to Land of Uchiha
XY59 Year – clan recovered and once again asserted dominance into Land of Ancestor.
XY72 Year – Young Clan head's brother Uchiha Souji died and young clan head Uchiha Soichiro awakened Mangekyo Sharingan but the newly appointed Senju Clan head, Senju Satsuma used Senjutsu and defeated him.
XY73 clan – retreated back to main clan land.
XY75 Year – Clan head Soichiro was defeated on battlefield and clan forfeited the great plains and relocated to Northern Mountain ranges and fortified the defenses.
XY95 Year – Clan head succumbed to injury and died
XY99 Year – Senju Clan head with near unkillable body on the battlefield, mysteriously died.
XZ20 Year – after 143 years of retreat, Uchiha, led by Uchiha Hotei finally reclaimed the Great Plains.
XZ24 Year – Uchiha Hotei signed a treaty with the Daimyo of Land of Fire in response to Senju's treaty with Land of Forest.
XZ40 March – clan was hired to fight in war between Land of Fire and Land of Forest. Senju was hired by the opposing Land of Forest Daimyo.
XZ40 October – Uchiha Hotei died under Senju Fukuro.
XZ40 December – Senju Fukuro passed away, the cause of death is unknown.
XZ43 August – Land of Fire defeated Land of Forest and annexed a portion of its land. Uchiha and Senju suffered massive casualty, but Uchiha won the war.
XZ74 November – Uchiha clan's contract with Land of Fire terminated.
XZ93 July – Clan leader Uchiha Ryuosuke died from Senju's ambush
XZ93 July – New Clan leader Uchiha Sake awakened Mangekyo Sharingan
XZ93 August – it was confirmed that rumor about Senju clan head's first born awakening Mokuton is correct
Shinichi's hands trembled.
"This pattern… is this a joke?"
'Every time an Uchiha clan head rises Senju clan head responds. They defeat us. Then die. As if their sole purpose is to suppress us… and expire.'
'Are they even human? More like golems, programmed to kill Uchiha leaders and then self-destruct.'
'Madara said Mokuton doesn't pass directly to descendants. It reappears only after the user dies. Then… are these Senju leaders born to die?'
'Their mission isn't to suppress the Uchiha. It's to kill the Uchiha clan head.'
'Then… will Hashirama die soon?'
He shook his head in denial.
'No. I'm overthinking. But this… this is too repetitive to be a mere coincidence.'
'Senjutsu and Mokuton. If Madara hadn't awakened Eternal Mangekyo or tamed the Nine-Tails… would Hashirama have unlocked Senjutsu?'
'Even Tobirama didn't seem to know about Hashirama's Senjutsu or the titanic Buddha statue…'
His breath quickened.
'Is someone playing with fate? A god? …. The Sage of Six Paths?'
His eyes began to glow ominously in a crimson light.
Pressure radiated from his body.
The killing intent of his past life surged forth.
He remembered how, the empire, the Outer Circle Knights, and the world he once knew were destroyed by the whims of so-called gods.
'Are we just playthings to you?!'
He shook his head, forcing the rage down.
'NO. it's too early to conclude that. Let's wait. If Senju Hashirama dies… then this cycle, this joke crafted by gods, I will BREAK IT."
His blood boiled at the thought. His clan, his family, his very bloodline was trapped in a divine game. He remembered the pain in his father's eyes after Madara's death. The way the world shifted. The way loss carved power into the hearts of the Uchiha.
'Mangekyo Sharingan… it awakens only through unbearable loss and the desire to change the world. If Madara's death was orchestrated by gods or the Sage of Six Paths…'
'The I will end this madness.'
Shinichi's three-tomoe Sharingan gleamed with resolve.
'If gods exist, then I must gain the power to challenge them. Chakra control and technique mastery are important. But our Kekkei Genkai… Mangekyo Sharingan… that is the key.'

Shinichi rummaged through the archives until he found the scrolls:

Volume 1 was missing, perhaps lost to time.
He read carefully. The scrolls documented every known Mangekyo Sharingan user.
'Since 800 or so years ago, 47 individuals have awakened Mangekyo Sharingan.'
'Uchiha Tora, Uchiha Tenma, Uchiha Shun… Seven in the same generation?!!'
Shock gripped Shinichi. He had believed the awakening conditions were rare and harsh. But the records told a different story.

the list extended sparsely as it entered Sengoku Era.
And then – Izuna and Madara. The first Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
Shinichi's mind raced. He flipped through the clan's historical records, searching for what preceded these powerful generations.
And he found it.

Each surge in Mangekyo awakening followed an era of peace, lasting 30 to 40 years.
'During war, clansmen become desensitized. Cold. Emotionless. That behavior passes to the next generation.'
'But peace… peace restores emotion. Love. Empathy. Bonds. That emotional richness allows the Sharingan to awaken more easily.'
The pattern was clear:
Peace → Emotional revival → Surge in Sharingan Awakenings → Dominate the world → War with Senju → Desensitization → Decline in Sharingan Awakening → Retreat → Peace comes
The Uchiha would rise during peace, grow powerful, and challenge the Senju. Then war would return. The Senju often allied with Uzumaki and various other clans, would crush them. The cycle would repeat.
Shinichi clenched his fists.
'Peace is our soil. Emotion is our water. In that environment, we bloom.'
'With Konoha's stability, the Uchiha will rise again.'
Or so he thought.
A shadow of doubt crept into his heart.
'But if this cycle is orchestrated… if peace is just the bait before the next fall…'
'Then I must be the one to sever it.'
Shinichi's Sharingan spun faster.
His resolve hardened.
And the gods, if they were watching, surely would have felt a chill.
