Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 I am your father

Time: August 1, 1991.

Location: New York City.

Character: Augustus ??.

New York, the most prosperous city in the world, with colorful neon lights flashing, and an air of desire emanating throughout the city.

This city has no distinction between day and night; the arrival of night only allows those unseen things to emerge more clearly.

In an alley behind John's Bar in Queens, two strangely dressed men were talking.

"Did you get the stuff?"

A tall man with a yellow mohawk asked.

"Got it. Just came from Colombia. The stuff is definitely pure. Is the money ready?"

The short man, who was ugly and missing two front teeth, said.

"The money's here, old bills, non-sequential, a total of one hundred thousand US dollars. Count it." The yellow-haired man said, handing a box to the short man, then stood aside and lit a cigarette.

"The inspections have been very strict lately. Those useless people from the Magical Congress of the United States of America come to check every day." The yellow-haired man said, blowing a smoke ring, "But I heard recently that several brothers here in New York ran into trouble. Do you have any news?"

"No, I heard they were all taken out directly. Although no one died, no one saw the attackers. The other side was too fast."

The short man said slowly, his head down counting money.

"It's really strange. People in our line of work are usually good. To be taken out without even seeing the opponent, it seems that attacker is not simple."

The yellow-haired man said, finishing his cigarette, then throwing the butt on the ground and stomping it out. He continued, "Hurry up and finish. I always feel like someone is watching me."

Just as he finished speaking, he heard a whooshing sound. Before he could react, he was already lying on the ground motionless. The short man next to him suffered the same fate; both fell to the ground almost simultaneously.

"0.02 seconds, not bad." A young voice came from the shadows, then a handsome young man walked out, picked up the box of money, and turned to leave.

"He shouldn't do that," an old voice said. "This is a crime," the voice continued.

"But he didn't kill anyone. No matter when, he never went for the kill, which means he is still kind, Newt. We should educate him, not punish him now."

A kind voice said as two old men emerged from the shadows. One had a very long beard that could be braided, and this old man had a childish heart, even tying a bow on it. The other old man seemed very unconfident, always keeping his head low.

"We should catch up quickly, Newt. Letting a Little Wizard wander in the Muggle World is not a good idea, and he seems to have mastered some unique wandless and silent magic. This is very dangerous," the white-bearded old man said.

"You should have come sooner, Dumbledore. He can be considered your descendant," Newt said with a hint of dissatisfaction.

"I thought that magic hadn't succeeded at all. An artificial body cannot give birth to a soul," Dumbledore said helplessly.

"But he not only succeeded, his magic talent is terrifyingly high. An underage Wizard can perfectly control his magic and even perform wandless magic. My Fire Salamander, it's truly unheard of," Newt said with lingering fear.

"After all, he has the blood of the Dumbledore Family," the white-bearded old man said with a smile, his tone carrying a touch of pride.

Hearing Albus Dumbledore's self-praise, Newt pouted and said, "He doesn't know he's from the Dumbledore Family. He thinks he's an orphan."

Dumbledore's face showed embarrassment at these words, but he quickly regained his composure and said slowly, "He will know today. Let's go, we'll follow him."

With a bang, Dumbledore vanished from the spot.

Immediately after, Newt's figure also disappeared, leaving only the two unlucky men still lying on the ground.

A young figure sped through the moonlight. This was clearly not an ordinary person; his movements were as agile as a cat, performing extraordinary parkour on rooftops. Suddenly, he stopped abruptly, then turned his face and said coldly, "Come out, I've found you."

Two old men emerged from invisibility. The young man said disdainfully, "So old and still robbing? Quite dedicated."

Dumbledore's face darkened at these words. He asked weakly, "Why would you think that, child? We just want to take you home."

"You're trying to fool a child. This is New York, the United States. Following a child in Queens and saying you want to take him home? Don't make me laugh. Who exactly are you?" After speaking, the young man raised a strange gun in his hand and pointed it at the two men.

Facing the dark muzzle of the gun, Dumbledore's face was full of dark lines, thinking this Little Wizard was too stubborn. So he took a deep breath and said slowly, "I am your father."

"What?!"

"What?! Don't talk nonsense. I'm an orphan, my father passed away long ago. And how old are you? How can you say such outrageous words? Shameless!" the young man said indignantly.

Newt, standing nearby, heard the young man's words and turned red, trying hard not to laugh out loud. Dumbledore, hearing this, became flustered, looking as if he was having a heart attack. He thought to himself that this was the first time in over a hundred years he had been called shameless, and for a moment, he was speechless.

Seeing the scene fall into an awkward silence, Newt decided to say something. "Ahem, Dumbledore, the Aurors from the Magical Congress of the United States of America are coming soon. You should take him out of the United States first."

Dumbledore took a deep breath and said, "Alright, Newt, thank you for your help. I'll take him now."

"Hey, hey, what are you talking about? What magic? I'm telling you, if you don't explain yourselves clearly today, I won't let you go, especially that white-bearded old man. You're my father? I'm your grandfather then!" the young man said indignantly, still pointing the gun at the two men.

"There's not much time left." With that, Dumbledore pulled out the elder wand and waved it lightly. The young man was pulled as if by something, flying quickly towards Dumbledore. Dumbledore gently grasped the young man's shoulder with his hand, then said to Newt beside him, "We're leaving first. Thank you sincerely for your help, Newt. Remember to visit Hogwarts if you have time."

"Hold onto me tightly with your hand," Dumbledore said with a smile to the young man in front of him. "Let go of me, you old pervert, what do you want to do?" the young man struggled to say.

Dumbledore's head seemed to flash with a large grid symbol (dish) upon hearing this. "Alright, stop messing around." With that, he shouted towards the sky, "Fawkes."

Suddenly, a fireball appeared in the sky. The fireball burned fiercely, and then a fiery red large bird flew out of it. It flew around above everyone's heads, so beautiful and magnificent, looking at it gave a feeling of hope.
