Chapter 84 - Chapter 84: What Scene Hadn't He Been Through

There were still classes in the afternoon, and as the twins and the others left, the school infirmary ward became quiet again.

An Dong continued to perfect the compatibility calculations between the werewolf and the fire dragon's hide.

Previously, when he used magic to simulate werewolves, vipers, and herbs, he had actual objects to work with.

Now, this thing was truly being researched from scratch, and there was no certainty it would succeed.

This was an experiment on his own body, so he had to be extremely cautious.

He couldn't possibly incite Hagrid to actually crossbreed a fire dragon and a werewolf for research, could he?

Under Professor Voldemort's tutelage, he gradually gained a deeper understanding of the Volkov witch's knowledge, becoming more certain of his previous conjecture about the werewolf and viper transformations—it was like flipping something inside out.

It was very interesting, surprisingly similar in principle to the Disillusionment Charm he had been practicing diligently.

The afternoon sun spilled in from the windowsill.

An Dong was immersed in the wonderful world of knowledge.

Draco was a bit jealous that so many people came to visit Harry while he was sick, and he found an excuse to start taunting Harry with sarcasm.

Harry obviously detested Draco as well, always feeling that this person was just as detestable as his cousin Dudley.

And so, the two of them started arguing again.

  Sigh.

There were always two people bickering beside An Dong.

At home, it was Pedro and the old wizard.

In the lab, it was the twins, who were always so full of energy.

Now in the infirmary, well, here were two more.

  Filter it out!

  Filter it all out!

An owl postman flapped its wings and flew in through the window.

It circled above their heads and landed on the headboard of An Dong's bed.

An Dong realized it was probably Lupin's reply, he had been having a bit of a headache recently about his relationship with Voldemort, and he wondered if this warm-hearted man, who was good at managing interpersonal relationships, would have any answers.

He took the envelope from the owl's claw and opened it.

As An Dong read, his expression became quite colorful.

Lupin was indeed a warm-hearted person, he believed An Dong shouldn't think of Snape as an out-and-out bad guy, and told him not to let the conflicts of the older generation affect his perception.

The letter specifically said many good things about Snape.

  "..."

What could An Dong do, but reply again: It's not Snape, it's the other one!

  Sigh.

Right, he hadn't even thought about the fact that he still had another difficult teacher, which was Snape.

He hadn't thought much of it before, but now he was suddenly a little worried that Snape might open his satchel to inspect its contents.

There were a lot of forbidden items inside.

Especially the notebook he carried with him, which recorded too many Dark Arts taught by 'Professor Quirrell'.

  Oh my god~

  This was big trouble!

  "..."

The passage of time became exceptionally slow, especially with two people who bickered nonstop beside him.

Then the old wizard also came to visit him.

The old wizard was now desireless, cherishing life more than ever, and his mood would improve just by looking at the young and vibrant little wizards, so when his band friends left, he stayed behind.

He and An Dong now maintained a certain delicate balance.

The old wizard had taught him everything about 'Fiennes's Potion Academia' and the 'Wizard's Eye' potion, but he hadn't mentioned a single word about the 'Fissure Charm', clearly holding something back.

An Dong didn't mention it either, the 'Fissure Charm' was the prerequisite for the old wizard to create a body for a ghost, but it was impossible for him to do it for the old wizard now.

_Human nature often cannot withstand testing, so everyone tried their best to maintain a warm and affectionate state.

Just as the old wizard said, 'a teacher's love and dedication', someone like An Dong who valued emotions would sooner or later willingly create a body for him, he was not in a hurry.

"Gagaga, you foolish apprentice, I really love you to death!"

He flew around Harry and Draco, happily watching the two little ones.

"You did it, you really did it, a werewolf, I've been studying it for over twenty years, and I've finally seen results."

An Dong pursed his lips, "Although being a werewolf can compensate for a wizard's weak physique, not being able to cast spells in werewolf form is the biggest problem right now."

The old wizard spread his hands, "That's something for you to worry about, gagaga, I can't think anymore, even if you ask me to, I can't come up with a solution."

He turned to look at the two werewolves, "Hey, you two little ones, we ghosts are holding a grand party, are you interested in coming?"

Draco tensed his face to keep from showing fear, he didn't even dare to look at the old wizard's headless neck and the head in his hands, huddling under the covers and trembling, "No, no!"

Harry looked at him with great interest, "Can I come?"

The old wizard laughed heartily, "Of course you can, you're most welcome, you're much cuter than An Dong."

An Dong rolled his eyes, not bothering to pay him any more attention.

"Three days, only six hours have passed..."

Countless magical images lit up before his eyes again, and he once more fell into a state of research.

The magical images of the various parts of the dragon subspecies were clearly valuable for development, he compared them with the functional characteristics that Snape had researched in their physical state, pondering the purpose of the various lines.

No matter how long three days seemed, they finally passed.

An Dong finally had his bandages removed, he was released.

He laughed wildly under the envious gazes of Harry and Draco.

  Hahaha!

Laughing to the heavens as I walk out the door.

  Then he couldn't laugh anymore.

"I found a very interesting problem with your wand." Snape held two wands in his hand, as if holding a large pair of chopsticks, "The Unforgivable Curses!"

  Clack.

The wands were thrown onto the desk, making a crisp sound, "I hope you can give us an explanation."

Us, yes, the office was quite lively at the moment.

An Dong swallowed and looked at them one by one.

First was Dumbledore, whose expression was unreadable, then a stern-faced Professor McGonagall, followed by a timid Professor Quirrell.

"I... I didn't... didn't teach him... these." Professor Quirrell explained, stammering.

Damn it, he didn't know if the Dark Lord had taught him or not!

When the Dark Lord occupied his body, he was in a state of tearing pain and couldn't perceive anything at all.

This was simply the worst-case scenario, Dumbledore would not allow his student to cast Unforgivable Curses, and as the only professor who could possibly have taught him this spell, he would be kicked out of the school.

The Philosopher's Stone would become an unattainable dream.

The Dark Lord always called him an idiot, but right now he felt the Dark Lord was the idiot!

An Dong pursed his lips and looked at them one by one, the Headmaster, the Deputy Headmistress, his own Head of House, and the professor involved.

He could foresee that he would be expelled.

He might even be sent to Azkaban.

He wondered if the snake transformation effect was the same as an Animagus, allowing him to be immune to the Dementors' attacks and escape from there.

For a full three seconds, his brain operated at high speed, and he finally calmed down.

The terrible experiences of the past two years had long forged him a strong heart.

To put it boastfully, what scene hadn't he been through?
