Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 I Recognize Every Letter on It

Anton really wanted to drink some 'Wizard's Eye' potion to observe his recovery process, but he was worried about conflicting potion effects, so he didn't try it rashly.

He always had too many, too many ideas.

Of course, the most crucial thing now was to explore the compatibility between the werewolf and the dragonhide.

After Madam Pomfrey left, the magical image lit up before his eyes again.

He wasn't worried about Harry or Draco learning it, as this was an observation curve constructed based on the theories of the 'Wizard's Eye' potion and 'Fiennes' Potion Academia'. Anton even suspected that Dumbledore wouldn't be able to understand it.

It wasn't that he thought Dumbledore wasn't powerful.

The feeling was like a mathematician, a physicist, and a painter each describing the world they saw, which would definitely be different.

A painter couldn't understand the world's trajectory behind calculus, and a mathematician couldn't understand why a messy, ruleless line represented sadness.

This description came from Pedro, a goblin who had lived for several hundred years.

"What is this?" Harry Potter was clearly a curious child.

Draco also secretly glanced over, full of curiosity about this mysterious roommate.

"An interesting puzzle game, I'm looking for the right contact points." Anton frowned, suspecting he might have made a mistake. No matter how he changed them, the two couldn't find any other points of compatibility.

"I've played with puzzles before!" Harry was clearly in a talkative mood. "Dudley, oh, a mean cousin of mine, he had a puzzle he didn't want. I could never finish it because one day he was unhappy and threw a lot of the pieces into the fireplace."

Anton's eyes lit up, and he suddenly turned his head to look at him.

Uh.

The feeling of being stared at by two werewolves was indeed strange.

He could only tell which one was Harry Potter by their beds. "You're saying, it couldn't be completed because a piece was missing?"

Harry didn't know why Anton looked so pleasantly surprised, but he still explained, "A lot of pieces were missing at the time, I..."

Before Harry could finish, Anton burst out laughing in delight.

"So that's how it is, yes, it must be!"

"Harry Potter, haha, I love you to death!"

Anton's fingers danced, and hundreds of magical images filled the sky of the entire hospital ward. These were all magical images from various parts of the subspecies dragon.

"Which one is it? Little darling, come out and show me?"

He tried them one by one, still without success. Suddenly, he thought of the tangled mess at the subspecies dragon's throat. He had made a small adjustment to it at the time, and the mess had stretched out, connecting all the components into a whole.

When the fat bird turned into a dragon, he had an idea. If it had been stretched out from the beginning, with his current ability, he wouldn't have been able to distinguish the magical images of all the components.

With a flick of his finger, the other magical images disappeared, and the stretched-out mess magnified before his eyes.

"I remember this part was connected to the wings, delete, delete..."

After a bit of trimming, what remained was a pattern resembling a triangle, composed of thirteen lines, twenty nets, and thirty-seven flakes.

He placed it on the combined image of the werewolf and the dragonhide.

Something miraculous happened. It was like the feeling of a backpack being zipped up, a sense of closure. A full sixty-something compatibility points merged the two together.

"Perfect!"

"Simply perfect!"

With a light tap on a node, all the image lines twisted and flipped, finally forming a somewhat strange-looking werewolf magical image.

"This thing, it might not have a tail!" Anton keenly noticed the strangest part. "Could it be that the creature born from the crossbreeding of a fire dragon and a werewolf has no tail?"

"Why?"

He couldn't understand it at all.

"I'll ask Hagrid about it some other day."

Well, the most important thing now was, of course, to give it a try. He was already getting impatient.

"Oh, dear, your wand and backpack are not with me. Professor Snape took them. You can ask him for them when you've recovered."

Early the next morning, Madam Pomfrey gave this answer.

That left him with no options. He could cast the Light and Shadow Mark wandlessly, but that was only because the thing, which could barely be considered a spell, was too simple.

The 'Bionic Charm' for transformation that he had invented was an extremely complex spell itself. It was unthinkable without the aid of a wand.

"How much longer until I can be discharged?" Anton had never been so eager.

"At least three days."

Thump.

Anton's head sank heavily into the goose-feather pillow, his eyes becoming lifeless.

"Three more days~"

Disappointed.

...

...

During lunch at school, Ron and Hermione came to visit Harry.

But Harry clearly didn't want to appear before his two best friends as a werewolf, so he forcefully pulled the blanket over himself and hid.

Then, a very funny scene occurred.

"Hahaha, now it's your turn. When I turned into a snake, Harry, you were the one who laughed the hardest!" Ron complained with a pout.

Werewolf: "..."

"It's actually fine, being fluffy is also quite interesting," Hermione comforted, trying her best to act as if it were a very interesting thing.

Werewolf: "..."

"Hey, Harry, don't be like that. I'm actually really worried about you," Ron said, looking at the werewolf seriously.

On the hospital bed behind him, the blanket was lifted, and Harry Potter said helplessly, "Ron, Hermione, I'm over here."

"!!!"

"!!!"

Ron looked at the werewolf who claimed to be Harry, then at the werewolf in front of him.

"Bloody hell!"

"Ha!" The werewolf on the bed viciously opened its big mouth, revealing a mouthful of fangs, scaring Ron back a few steps.

"Hahaha..." Draco laughed so hard the bed shook. "Coward."

Hermione's eyes widened, she stuck out her tongue, and quietly shuffled her feet away.

Anton looked at them helplessly, "Draco, that's enough. You guys are too noisy."

A short while later, the twins also arrived.

"Hey, look what we brought you?" Fred waved the thick stack of parchment in his hand. "Our imitation wand 3.0 is done!"

George, smiling, pulled a proper-looking wand from his pocket and handed it to Anton.

"Wow~" Anton was stunned.

The Scouring Charm wasn't as easy to replicate as one might think. The countless problems on the research path were always frustrating. Geniuses like the three of them had been researching it together for who knows how long.

"Quick, tell me how you did it!"

Fred chuckled and stuffed the parchment into Anton's hand. "It's actually very simple. We were all thinking in the wrong direction. As long as we separate the functions, putting simple spells like the Deodorizing Charm, Cleaning Charm, Odor-Removing Charm, Dust-Removing Charm, and so on, we can imitate the effect of the Scouring Charm."

George shrugged. "So this is actually just a simplified version, not a Scouring Charm in the strict sense, but I don't think Filch can tell the difference."

"???" Anton looked bewildered. "I've never even heard of these spells!"

"Household spells!" Fred raised his eyebrows.

"Our mum is very good at them," George said with a grin. "She definitely won't know we wrote to ask her about this for an invention."

"A good way to break the deadlock!" Anton exclaimed in admiration.

"Unfair!" Ron's face turned red with anger. "You're my brothers, but you never show me your research notes!"

George shrugged. "Exactly, Fred, you're wrong to do that!"

Fred shrugged. "Alright."

He took the notes from Anton's hand and passed them to Ron. "Here, look."

Harry and Hermione also curiously leaned their little heads over.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Silence, a long silence...

"This page isn't the main point. Ron, you should flip to the second to last page. The description of the alchemical combination with the spell on it is the most important part," Anton kindly reminded him.

"..." Ron's expression was strange. "I recognize every letter on it!"

Harry blinked. "It's making my head spin."

So the two of them looked at Hermione. The top student also looked completely lost. "Huh?"
