Chapter 1 - Prologue

It was nighttime, inside the infirmary of a school you could see several stretchers, most of them were empty, except for one.

In a corner of the infirmary room there was a bed that was occupied, on it was lying a young woman with long, straight, light blue hair, who was peacefully asleep and could barely be seen thanks to the brightness of the moon reflected in a window that was a few meters from the bed reflecting her.

It was a wonderful sight to admire..... which was quickly interrupted due to annoying noises

They were grunts that were heard and they came from outside the infirmary, at first they were low like small moans that seemed to get louder and louder, you could see the shadow of a young man who seemed to be injured in his left foot as he walked strangely through the school hallways.

As the young man limped closer to the infirmary, his grunts became louder, causing the young woman with light blue hair who was sleeping inside the infirmary to begin to wake up.

The long-haired girl opened her eyes when her sleep was interrupted by the constant growling from outside the room, the girl's eyes were blue that matched the tone of her hair, making her look more beautiful than she already is.

The young woman began to get up from the stretcher, and once she was seated she grabbed her head due to the strong dizziness caused by standing up suddenly.

When his head finally stopped spinning, he looked around to see where he was, he saw some stretchers, he also saw two shelves that at first glance seemed to contain some bandages, alcohol, and several bottles of pills.

She also noticed a desk on top of it, there was a bottle of water and a bag of chips, she probably should have recognized this place but she didn't, she only knew that this was some kind of infirmary but she didn't recognize the place, it seemed strange to her.

She didn't even recognize where she was, nor did she have any memories of how she had gotten to that place, she didn't even remember if she had family or friends, or if she had any, and worst of all, she didn't even remember her own name.

He got up from the stretcher with shaky legs, like a baby just starting to walk, and when he took his first step, the dizziness in his head that had recently vanished returned with intensity, and he had no choice but to sit back down on the bed.

She was weak, but she didn't want the headache and her shaky legs to get in the way of something as simple as walking, so she stood back up without hesitation and ignored the dizziness it made her feel and started walking.

At first, he took slow, short steps to begin with, and when he finally stopped feeling dizzy, he started pacing around the room, trying to find something to remember, but he found absolutely nothing that seemed familiar.

Suddenly her stomach growled with hunger, the young woman with light blue hair approached the desk where she saw the bottle of water and the chips to start eating.

Once I finished eating, it was for the first time since I woke up that I noticed what I was wearing. It was a school uniform: a white long-sleeved blouse, and over it, a navy blue school vest and a navy blue skirt.

The young woman checked her long-sleeved blouse and vest to see if she could find a name tag, but she found nothing. She sighed, tired of not getting more information. At least now she knew she was in the school infirmary, and maybe some of her classmates would recognize her, they wondered.

But that wasn't all good, because now it was nighttime, which meant they had forgotten about her and she was locked in the school. She tried to think positively, I mean, at least she had already eaten, and if she looked around the halls maybe they would look familiar and she could recover at least a little of her old memory.

Then the young woman lightly sniffed her clothes, she smelled like sweat, so she decided she would look for the girls' bathrooms, maybe there would be a shower and if she was lucky maybe she would also find some clean clothes.

So he decided to leave the school infirmary, which turned out to be a really bad idea...

Because she had barely left the infirmary when she saw three shadows around her moaning in low voices, the young woman with light blue hair cautiously approached the three shadows that although her entire face could not be seen, she knew that they were wearing the same school uniform as her, probably if it were daytime she would have run at full speed towards those people to get some information about this school, but not now, since the young woman knew that no school allowed young people to study so late at night, even if it was a night school, at least there would be more light everywhere and not everything would be in complete darkness.

In addition, this place had a strong smell of death, as if a rat or a cat had died several days ago and was rotting.

So the young woman came to two conclusions, the first was that they were probably thieves disguised in school uniforms or that these were unfortunate young people who, like her, for unknown reasons, did not make it out of school.

And when the young woman finally saw the faces of the three strangers she was paralyzed with fear, they were horrible, they were disfigured with a slight green color on their skin, even in one it seemed that the skin on their right cheek was peeling, leaving the dead flesh of the person exposed.

These three students didn't look quite right, they looked like they were dead and that was evident in their eyes, the sclera of their eyes were red and swollen.

As if at any moment his eyes were going to pop out...

It was then that he realized that these three students were probably dead... They were the living dead...

It was then that the young woman asked herself, "Where the hell am I?!"
