On a freezing rainy day, the world faced what came to be known as the Dark Day—the most cursed day in human history. On this day, strange rains fell, known as the Rains of Feelings.
A couple stepped out of the hospital, carrying their newborn. As the rain poured down, a single glowing drop slipped into the baby's eye. His gaze shimmered with radiant, shifting colors before he blinked rapidly, and his eyes returned to normal.
Years passed swiftly... On his first birthday, Mazen awoke to find his brother Moaz celebrating his own second birthday beside him. Their older brother, Waseem, sat before them, playing with the little ones, his face lit with joy.
"Meral, are you done with the juice?" Waseem called out to their sister.
"Yes… I'm coming," she replied, emerging from the kitchen with a tray of glasses.
Behind her came their mother, Aisha, carrying a small cake. Suddenly, the doorbell rang."Open the door for your father, Meral," their mother said.
Their father, Wadie, entered with decorations and candles in hand. He turned to Waseem with a smile."Come on, let's hang the decorations."
The decorations went up, the candles were lit, the lights dimmed... and the birthday celebration of Mazen and Moaz began, wrapped in the warmth of family.
Mazen's childhood was simple and joyful. He played with Moaz, teased Meral and ran from her laughter, and often sat beside Waseem, watching him absorbed in video games.
One day, Mazen sat next to his father and asked with innocent curiosity:"Dad… what are the Rains of Feelings?"
Wadie's expression darkened as he stared through the window at the falling rain. His voice grew hesitant."Come closer, son… I'll tell you."
He spoke of an ancient scientist who had once discovered a radioactive element called Livermorium, a force beyond the laws of nature. During his research, the laboratory exploded, releasing dark clouds that rained upon a child—transforming him into the very first Feelings' Monster, known as Monster Zero.
From that day on, the cursed rain interacted with human DNA, creating both Feelings' Monsters and bearers of mysterious Eyes of Feelings throughout history.
Suddenly, a loud crash came from the window. Wadie rushed to it, his face paling as he shouted:"Mazen, run!!!"
The boy froze in place, confused and terrified. In an instant, the glass shattered, and a monstrous figure leapt into the room—its glowing eyes burning with bloodlust. It struck Wadie with a brutal blow, hurling him against the wall. Blood streamed from his head as he whispered weakly:"Run… please."
Mazen trembled, his gaze darting between his father and the broken window. His heartbeat thundered, panic clouding his mind. Suddenly, his eyes turned gray, and he bolted forward in tears, pushing aside everything in his path with a strength he had never known.
But the monster appeared before him, sneering:"Hmm… such interesting eyes."
It approached slowly, claws raised to strike. Fear locked Mazen's legs in place—he could not move.
At the very moment the claws were about to tear into his eyes...
A violent gust of wind burst through the room. A swirling vortex formed, and from it descended a man in a long coat bearing the letters VI. Half his face was hidden behind a mask. One of his eyes remained closed, as though in a dream, while the other glowed with a piercing violet light.
He raised his right hand, and with a mere flick of his fingers, a circle of frozen water coiled around the monster, suddenly igniting with smokeless gray fire. The creature's hand was severed, its eyes scorched in agony. It screamed before collapsing to its knees, slowly reverting into human form.
The warrior turned to Mazen, his voice deep, tinged with sorrow yet calm:"Do not fear… your father will be fine."
Then he turned away, vanishing into the raging wind. All that remained was silence… and the wide eyes of a trembling child, watching the mysterious figure disappear—eyes that felt they had seen something strangely familiar… and haunting.
