Noticing someone approaching, Serena Sutton suddenly looked up and was startled to see Caleb Lockwood appear out of nowhere.
She reacted a little slowly and quickly locked her phone screen, blankly asking, "When did you get here?"
Facing his intense gaze, Serena's heart started pounding as if she had done something wrong.
Does this man walk without making any noise? He's too stealthy.
"Emptying the shopping cart?" Caleb's cool voice reached her ears as his dark eyes fixed on her. He didn't quite understand what it meant. Why does her roommate keep giving... negative reviews?
Serena hadn't expected him to see the chat history on her phone; his eyesight is really good.
"Uh, we were just joking around, everyone was kidding in the group." She couldn't really let Caleb clear her shopping cart, could she? She wasn't that shameless.
Caleb's handsome brows moved slightly, still seeming puzzled, and he frowned again, "So a negative review for me?"
