Nina Pierce said with a face full of resentment, "You didn't. Every time you said you had a lot of courses and were too busy, and that we'd get together when you got back."
Laura Quincy rubbed her friend's round cheeks, "Then I must've been really busy! I only had a year, there was so much to learn, I had to make every second count!"
