Julian Fairchild asked, "Is she pregnant?"
Yara Payne adjusted her bag upwards and said, "No, but it could also be because it's too early to tell. Let's wait for a while."
"How long should we wait?"
"That depends on you." Yara coughed, "But, being too frequent might not be good either. I noticed Maeve Lane looks rather pale. It's good to have some restraint."
When Julian heard that Maeve wasn't pregnant, his eyes seemed to lose their brilliance instantly.
Miles Hughes quickly comforted him, "Don't be discouraged, sir, you're still young!"
Yara felt the atmosphere was a bit strange and asked, "If there hasn't been a child for long, it might be a physical issue."
She subtly said, "Maeve Lane is very healthy, so there shouldn't be any major problem."
Miles understood the implication, and surely Julian did too.
His face turned dark for a moment.
Yara hurriedly said goodbye, "I'll go get some medicine for your dear Maeve, you two talk."
