This morning was spent on an IV drip.
Gu Xiaoqing was almost bored to death. If it weren't for Fang Shaohan sitting on a chair beside her, occasionally handing her a peeled apple or a cup of water, Gu Xiaoqing wouldn't know what to do.
The two of them spoke very little, hardly any communication—mainly because Gu Xiaoqing was shy. She still hadn't recovered from the events of yesterday.
Fang Shaohan, on the other hand, seemed completely at ease.
"What are you doing in Shanghai?"
Gu Xiaoqing broke the silence, sensing that staying quiet somehow felt strange, and this atmosphere seemed all the more ambiguous.
Might as well find something to talk about.
Fang Shaohan sat down and glanced at the IV bottle, noticing it was at its last half. It should be finished before lunch.
